@smbschrader, as I understand it Paramount or the indie production company that actually made the film didn't obtain music clearances for home video release. The rights to the songs originally on the soundtrack had become too expensive even by the time of the VHS release, so a lot of the music was replaced. (the major exception being the Springsteen songs). The only way to hear the original audio track is if you have a recording of the film off Showtime from 1984.
Didn't Scene 2 have a completely different soundtrack? I want to say The Toys' "Lovers Concerto." Was that it? What happened to this video clip? Why was the original music removed?
