Think you guys in California have Firethugs? Our Firefrauders in Las Vegas Average $180k per year! Many make well over $200k! Some have topped $300k. Call in sick 300 to 1100hrs a year! They make this kind of money by calling in sick and covering each other for time and a half, and after they retire we keep paying the 6 figures and hire more thugs. They should all be fired and forced to pay the money back. Firethugs make me sick!

The "heroes" are the civilian passers by that run into a fire to help someone they dont know with no equipment, no training and without being paid or thanked. The "heroes" are the ones that stop to do cpr on a stranger because they got their training at some corporate seminar they attended and saw someone in need. Dude! this is so true! I'm an explorer and I've already spent in excess of $350 just for my uniform, and I had to buy goggles for my helmet XD not to mention Fire Science and my EMT are way expensive! This is so true.

And that bums can't walk 2 feet to the hospital and some don't even have anything wrong with them that restricts them from walking. Our 911 system is abused WAY too often. My city has 50+ fire stations, run 30+ambulances 3rd city, the SWAT is a part time gig in another city. I'm not superman, just work and do my job very simple. Thats odd, cause I don't even know any paramedics who are fat. Oh and if I am not mistaken the only reason the fire service began EMS services is because they needed a source of revenue not to mention I am pretty sure Paramedics actually save lives on a regular basis. There is a little more skill in intubating than spraying water out of a hose.

I love how firefighters are the "real heroes" yet actually do what they are trained to do maybe once every other week and the rest of the time give out band-aids. OMG everything said in this video is SO true! Typical calls, talking about how poeple who call 911 don't know the right information! And that bums can't walk 2 feet to the hospital and some don't even have anything wrong with them that restricts them from walking. Our 911 system is abused WAY too often. I'm thinkin the person who made this may have been a dispatcher... talking about the "bitchin dispatchers". HAHA and the probies.... lOl. Love the little dance at the end ;-)

I am trained in high angle rescue, search and rescue/recovery, swift water, flight medic, I keep the hose draggers away from the drugs, especially after one tried to bolus lidocaine to a heat exhaustion PT. Auto extrication is easy, cut the A/B frame and doors, wow talent there. King airways are made for EMT's. Your quote "but when it happens we have to be money", do you mean "READY"? Trust me pumperman26, my resume is probably a lot longer than yours. ex Army flight medic, SWAT medic, (all big city BTW) and a list of fireman who's asses I have saved. I have no desire to be a hosedragger, never have and never will. Again sorry to disappont but I'm 5'10" 160lbs, run 5 miles every other day, 6pack stomach and 7% BMI, (body fat). My city has 50+ fire stations, run 30+ambulances 3rd city, the SWAT is a part time gig in another city. I'm not superman, just work and do my job very simple. Thats odd, cause I don't even know any paramedics who are fat. Oh and if I am not mistaken the only reason the fire service began EMS services is because they needed a source of revenue not to mention I am pretty sure Paramedics actually save lives on a regular basis. There is a little more skill in intubating than spraying water out of a hose.

I love how firefighters are the "real heroes" yet actually do what they are trained to do maybe once every other week and the rest of the time give out band-aids. I sure wish I got paid to work out and go grocery shopping. I am sure it is scary and takes balls to run into a burning building, but being a firefighter does not take near the balls as being a cop. No one likes them for what they do, hardly anyone thanks them for what they do, they face life threatening calls EVERY shift.
