I'm pretty sure Nicky was sick that night and hence his voice wasn't his usual best. Shows his courage when he's still prepared to go on stage to perform such a difficult song. The song is difficult to sing because of it's high key. But Nicky is still able to sing it. I've seen clips on YouTube where he recently sang this song. In any case, he was 21 when he released this song. It was 20 years ago. Nicky is now, not only a singer, but an awesome actor!!! Love and support Nicky forevermore
