@ciaranj1992 the real reason why its called chin-lone is that; chin (first word) is utilized bcoz the material used for original chinlone is also used to craft baskets(chin) in ancient Burma, the material is called "kyane". Lone (second word) basically means something round; in this case "ball". Thus, ChinLone means ball made from material used for basket (basket ball). Ironic. they didnt call it "kyane-lone" because that word already existed, it's "cane".
