In order to save on WII64, you have to open up the rom in a hex editor (Hex Workshop works well). In the top right box, you will see "M64: TheMissingStars". Replace the : with something like _. The save doesn't like the colon. Then just save.

@friday656 to Save, you have to open up the rom in a hex editor and replace "sm64: missing stars" with "Super Mario 64". The rom should save fine. If you still don't get it, I will personally send you a missing star rom that runs on wii64 perfect. Just message me.

i got this working but when i went back to the wii64 menu when i was done playing it said "failed to save" so i cant start were i left off at. i guess every time you play it you have to start over. :(

Edit: Never mind i got it to work :D if any one else is having this problom then at the wii64 menu go to settings and where it says "native saving device" put it on card A and when you save it will work :D but when you load wii64 again say, the next day you have to reapeat the above and then goto current rom and pick "load save file" and vola, you can now save and load your SM64:TMS! but to do this you need a gamecube memory card inserted in slot A in the wii.
