This little trick has been around since vanilla-wow. If blizzard really cared, they could've patched it up but they didn't. So in all essence, no harm, no foul.

Hey I just ran a level 12 hunter through Deadmines last night, and I noticed she kept getting killed and I also noticed there were 5 different pats walking all over the place. Also I did BRD right after, and the part where they dont attack you, they actually do so its just a heads up.
