After watchin all the seasons of voyager i got the guitar pro tab for the theme and learned the parts then the rest i did in cubase mate.

Theres probably a few renditions of this theme floatin around, we all systematically rip off some dude?

I suggest you listen to the two again, their not the same ... at all lol

@Leadcatcher he has rapid pick attack, i dont, i have drums he doesnt, his is a medly, mine isnt ... the guitar tone is completely different!

If you think it sounds the same ish your right, and i'll tell ya why, (this is hard to work out i know) ... there both the voyager theme XD ... now, your uber awesome mixer (dont really see the relevance of the mixer btw) may tell you its the same, it is however, lying :D

@StevieBigFace Agree totally. You are not playing this with rapid picking, you do have drums, you have both the melody and the rythm to go with it, his is purely the lead melody. Guitar tone.. couldn't be more different if it tried. His sound's like a wasp in a can, yours has tone and meat to it. Nice effort on the track :D

@StevieBigFace he ran it through a copyright infringement mixer. it tells you if the sings are similar enough to validate a copyright infringement case. however, in that theyre both covers, as you said before, the mixer has no validity here, and the fact that youre both working off the same original work (star trek theme) is what perks the mixer to call copyright infringement. he obviously doesnt know how to use the program (if he negatively included the original theme, it might've helped)

@Leadcatcher As a sound tech of several years I can asure you that your lying. The two song's are totally not the same. Yes they may be the same theme, but not the same person playing it, nor the same guitar nor tone. As far as a mixer telling you they are... that would require waveform analsis, something only the top of the line Allen and Heath mixers have, or a DAW. Nice try at trollin though!

@Leadcatcher dude you're retarded...not only do the two videos not sound AT ALL the same....the other one starts blatantly differently, has no drums like this one (as uploader said) plus the other video is 5 minutes long and this one is only a bit over a minute...explain again now how they could be the same track?
