Mike Huckabee is a true and honest Christian that has a relationship with God.

Mitt Romney has religion. He said in his faith speech he would never depart from his church or faith of his fathers. Now the Mormons have never believed in abortion.But Romney was pro-Choice for a political agenda, then switched to pro-life for his political agenda again. I would say he leaves the faith of his church and father when it seems to fit his political agenda.

I still have trouble seeing how Huckabee squares his Christianity with his support for the death penalty (or "enhanced interrogation for that matter). That's still one of the main issues that turned me away from organized religion when I started questioning my beliefs.

many people have wondered about that... but there is a provision in God's word for protection of God's children. We as a civilized nation thing that the rights of every life are important. But it's the life of the innocent that is more important than evil. Think about this. Peter was with Jesus at the end and he was armed with a sword. Why have a sword as the follower of God? The word "kill" in the Commandments means murder. "Thou shalt not murder." Society has laws to protect itself and penalties that warn of the consequenses. Every action has a reaction and members of society should know that murdering a fellow citizen has its consequence.

I myself was against organized religion until I realized one thing. Without the church I would not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Evil infultrates everything even the church. You feel there is evil in organized religion, that is no reason to run from it. "The only neccesary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."-Edmund Burke. Good people are standing behind Mike Huckabee. Organized religion(what ever the religion) is there to protect the message.

For the comment of whosoever posted 3 weeks ago, that is the problem you had you were in organized religion and didn't have a relationship with God.If you did you would understand where Mike Huckabee is coming from.

Christians know it is not a sin for the death penalty when it is warrented.

The "Thou shall not kill" means to just murder someone and if you do you face the penalty of death, that's why God says "Thou shall not"

you know the weird thing is I thought this youtubber was an atheist...fishing to see if any of those running believed in the bible in not just the literal sense, but saying something like, oh you believe in the OT laws that certain people should be stoned to death, etc. That is what I usual hear anyway. I was thrilled at the way Mike answered it though. Then later saw this YT was indeed a Christian. Was just really odd how he presented the question though.
