This movie confirmed what I believed happened when I met my future wife! I have never seen any other movie before or since which to me depicts how soul mates meet in the physical plane. The way we met at the time just blew me away, when we could have easily missed each other. Call it fate or whatever but within a short time we knew we were meant to be together just like in the movie! By the way we met 6 years before this movie was made!

I loved this fantastic movie ever since I & my fiance (my husband now) saw it at the Academy theater in Pasadena during our college years. I was glad to find it here on You Tube months ago & since it is my birthday today I thought I come on tonight to enjoy it again. God Bless you for uploading this very beautiful movie.

This is a beautiful movie...First time i watched it was early 90's and have been in love with it ever since. I never forgot about this movie since it made such a huge impression on me. I truly believe that what we think heaven is, is truly very similar to this. A true love story that can really happen...I believe in fate! When I meet my husband I just had a feeling of knowing and complete comfort, that you don't have with a stranger.....It is out there!! Just believe in it!

Does anyone know about the music by Mark Isham? He had a large part of the soundtrack that made it to cassette. He music is just as great as the song sung by Martha Davis.

Thank you for posting this movie...It was one of my favorites in the 80's...Only then it called to me for romantic reason. Now as I watch it again 20 years later I totally grasp depth of which my heart still yearns to find...I'm like Elmo I know shes out there I just have to turn around....

Destiny brings clues at all times, but we get lost with the noise of the world. I love the platonic approach to calling of the soul, but in a very aristotelic way to discover the way. This movie has been one of my most favorites since I watched it. I had my teen boys to watch it, and perhaps not miss their chance

It's very nice to see that this movie has a fan club and a life after DVD on YouTube. I was the assistant property master on it and have lots of good (and a few scary) memories from the days that we filmed it. It is the only feature I ever worked on but I had a great time doing it.
