the cheyennes were slaughtered by Custard. He killed the women, children, and elderly. No harm managed to cover an infant and save its life. the infant was named living in hopes by sully and Dr. Mike. Custard was a bastard. the episode was washita. be warned it was a harsh episode.
Yay! I'm finally getting to watch the episode where Mike finds out that she's pregnant. I've only recently begun to watch the series and so when I found out that Mike has a baby, I wanted to be able to watch the episode where she discovers she's pregnant.
does anyone know what episode is it where Sully kidnps Mikayla for a getaway or something?? I know its when they are already married i juss forgot what episode
*sigh* I miss Myra. I just watched Before the Dawn and I really hated what they did with her. She was really the only one in town who never judged anyone and never stuffed her views down others throat.
"me and loren and hank will have a good time." seriously jake needs to widen out in his friendships. loren in particular I think has grown and left jake behind in terms of character 'improvement' anyway.
@pecky143 They never showed it. He was back for the beginning of the next episode (Expedition, which was a two part episode). They did mention that he was gone for a whole month though.
@allaroundcoach no kidding, that's like complaining about how your leg hurts to someone who is paralyzed. and later on in this episode she makes fun of Ginny Baker's southern twang, I mean seriously Dr. Mike? Was that necessary?
The fact that the Indians needed a day pass to leave the reservation irks me something awful. I wonder if that part of the country's history is also real. I realize the country's history isn't perfect but some things are just down right ridiculous. Seems to me human compassion was not considered for everyone when this country was built/founded. Too bad.
@Cruzan9 Unfortunately, this kind of prejudice is always true, everywhere. It's just more prevalent in America b/c there's more diversity. Look at how Muslims are viewed today. I had a Muslim friend in high school, and just because she looked different, ppl were always mean to her. They might have been kids, but they reflect their families. But, just as was probably true at that time, there are always people like Dr. Mike who stand up for justice. Those are the ppl who help change history. :-)

mike can be so insensitive at times, talking to her not being able to have kids and letting people down to GRACE of all people! honestly!
