@TakinVCards If the SE-R is stock, it stops pulling as hard around 80, and I have an 06 6MT. I think it's drag, the SE-R isn't very aerodynamic. I do know if you run it up to the redline without an ECU reflash, the mixture goes full rich, so you gotta shift early.

you guys are idiots. altimas are good cars but at the end of the day theyre family sedans with a v6. the srt-4 sole purpose of existance is to make the most amount of power for as cheap as possible. mod for mod a srt4 will make more power than an altima anyday. just because your car has a v6 doesnt mean its a highway monster. My altima 3.5 is an automatic with 4 bolt ons, raced a G37x from a slow roll yesterday and won by about a fender to ~105. They trap 102-104 depending on auto/stick.

Boosted vs N/A is a ok to compare, just as long as the engine output specs are close. I'm a big fan of both cars, but when it came to me putting my money down, i went with the SE-R. More space, I get 31-32mpg on the highway, etc. The six speed is perfect, but it's crisp enough. If I just wanted to run, I'd be looking at 90s civic hatchbacks lol.
not really a fan of hondas but i gotta agree. the hatch can be killers wit simple bolt ons and its cheap prices. A hatch relies on its weight more than its power. Wit its lgiht weight, a gutted out interior 300whp can take out a srt-4 wit 400whp (seen the vid. before). It can also run low 8s. the hatchs r beast if pplz can really tune that shit.
It's even better if the engine is reinforce when boosted. Seen many 300+ hp as a daily driven. But im still a huge nissan fan. Hondas is no match for the nissans in terms of power/torque and its engine efficient. Never seen any hondas wit more than 700whp (except for drag cars which doesnt count because those r design for only 1 run and less than a day, the engine goes ka-booommm). But it does have the potential if any mods can reinforce the b or K series.

An SE-R has a better N/A engine, but that pesky SRT-4 has as much aftermarket as a Civic. A Simple turbo upgrade, the 50 Trim for example, and the possibilities seem limitless. I won't knock the SRT-4, because I've seen the "Red Sled", so I know better, but the SE-R is my car.
I totally agree with you. There are some things we altima owners can do but its pretty much one off custom shit not staged upgrades. Things like the cattman Y pipe or Kinetix intake manifolds, etc.
A SRT-4 is faster than the SE-R Altima. The SRT-4 has a a good deal more top end when the turbo kicks in. But for me I would rather have a SE-R. I it seem a little more grown up then the SRT-4.

If an SRT4 is beating you that bad, then you don't have the 3.5L you have the 2.5L. The 3.5L 6 speed would have owned the SRT4. That's just the way it is.
I don't know where you got that idea. Any altima, 2.5 or 3.5 is a good deal slower than a stock SRT4, especially out on the highway. Look up the numbers before you talk.

A SRT-4 is faster than the SE-R Altima. The SRT-4 has a a good deal more top end when the turbo kicks in. But for me I would rather have a SE-R. I it seem a little more grown up then the SRT-4.

Its all in how you drive you sissys. i had a 3.5 se 5 speed and i was unstoppable against 4, 6, and 8 cylinder cars. not to say that i didnt get beat once in awhile, but i knew how to drive my car very well. people need to stop blaming the slow car and start learning how to drive a standard without granny shifting the fucking thing. redline it bitches!! if your scared of blowing it, you have no business racing. PERIOD!

This is true I get guys all the time on 350zs trying to pick on my srt4 cuz well its a neon but I walk them pretty bad once I boost. I love it cuz they just turn on the next street and dont even wanna talk. Both cars are cool its just you will always have more room to improve on a factory built turbo car.

If an SRT4 is beating you that bad, then you don't have the 3.5L you have the 2.5L. The 3.5L 6 speed would have owned the SRT4. That's just the way it is.

I don't know where you got that idea. Any altima, 2.5 or 3.5 is a good deal slower than a stock SRT4, especially out on the highway. Look up the numbers before you talk.
