We lost several c-130 and a alot of good crew members. I hate all North and South VN. On Med evac missions the SVN wouldn't even help ther own wounded off the plane. I lost all respect for them. I was just 5 miles south of this spot on that day with the 1st of the 7th Cavalry (Gerry Owen 3rd Brigade) We could hear the tanks man and they were'nt ours either Russian T 53's I think! we wanted to get closer for a look-see but we were only an 8 man ambush team so it was "no-go". There were 75th Rangers H Company in An Loc that day calling for evac - 1 ranger was captured .. wish we could have helped them out

@teamforteress I was there in 72 air dropping on a soccer feild in the middle of An Loc because that is all the preperty that we owned at the time. We lost several c-130 and a alot of good crew members. I hate all North and South VN. On Med evac missions the SVN wouldn't even help ther own wounded off the plane. I lost all respect for them. I remember it like it was yesterday.........
