  • Man everytime I hear this I'm astonished at the soul this man has. He sure could cature the blues flawlessly. Shame he never got to continue. A hidden gem in the blues community.

  • Does anyone know about the set up Sean used? Which amp(s)/pedals?

  • thank you so much for having these posts up. God I miss him, A piece of Atlanta died with him, It hasn't felt the same since... thumbs up if you feel the same.

  • @jayrothfritz i feel the same and i from the UK!

  • It gives me chills every time I hear it. One of the few that actually played what they felt and not what they were told would sell. It's a shame...

  • un grande sean, el que puso no me gusta.... simplemente no entiende nada

  • Please join Sean's FB page to see the movie trailer that will be used for funding a film of his life.

  • Would have been nice to see this person. Shame I will never have the chance.

  • thats the purest sweetest saddest tone

  • A fantastic performer on guitar and vocals. The soul/r&b influence separates him from the typical white blues rocker. Much more interesting to listen to.

  • Anyone know who makes his pickups?

  • Jason Lollar makes a replica of Sean's original P90. Google "Lollar pickups" as I can't post the link here...

  • Those are Gibson P-90's

  • those are original P-90's, they are what Gibson put on all Les Pauls until about 1957 when they invented the Humbucker. This guitar is a '53 (note the stop-bar tailpiece).

  • I can't believe I didn't discover this guy earlier :(

    R.I.P

  • Hi my friend JilaX: I'll second that! I have only just discovered Sean Costello.

It's too late to see him 'live' but we have his fine CDs. As Little Charlie Baty said about SRV, "It's great that he got to document his talent".

I love this song particularly. Fantastic!

Bipolar disorder must be a terrible trial to contend with. I make no judgement about his use of drugs: this old world can be a raw experience....

Best wishes to all blues lovers, from the U.K.

  • Thanks for sendin' me this Jimmy. So sorry for your loss! :( He was very talented, and a terrific person I'm sure, to be a friend of yours. ~nikki
