Man everytime I hear this I'm astonished at the soul this man has. He sure could cature the blues flawlessly. Shame he never got to continue. A hidden gem in the blues community.
thank you so much for having these posts up. God I miss him, A piece of Atlanta died with him, It hasn't felt the same since... thumbs up if you feel the same.
A fantastic performer on guitar and vocals. The soul/r&b influence separates him from the typical white blues rocker. Much more interesting to listen to.
those are original P-90's, they are what Gibson put on all Les Pauls until about 1957 when they invented the Humbucker. This guitar is a '53 (note the stop-bar tailpiece).
I won't be passing you by , Sean .You were a great , great talent. Thank you for the passion, depth and artistry you gave us in your short time here.RIP.

It gives me chills every time I hear it. One of the few that actually played what they felt and not what they were told would sell. It's a shame...

Anyone know who makes his pickups?

Jason Lollar makes a replica of Sean's original P90. Google "Lollar pickups" as I can't post the link here...

Hi my friend JilaX: I'll second that! I have only just discovered Sean Costello.
It's too late to see him 'live' but we have his fine CDs. As Little Charlie Baty said about SRV, "It's great that he got to document his talent".
I love this song particularly. Fantastic!
Bipolar disorder must be a terrible trial to contend with. I make no judgement about his use of drugs: this old world can be a raw experience....
Best wishes to all blues lovers, from the U.K.
