Theres not many 45 minute videos on youtube i can sit through and watch but i didnt want this one to end. Absolutely amzing, what a gift for a gifted man
Beautiful! The program is one of classic things. Love of M. Ali, I feel, has never diminished. It has always grown during all these years to the extent that he ultimately gained the status of being amongst most loved ones. 3 times heavy weight champ! And especially da way he first won this title was literally a treat for the eyes . The program this video holds has everything about Ali. It's like a one-stop shop for you to pick up every bit of Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer on earth!
This is the best Muhammad Ali interview! This is so great, cause you get the whole Ali story, tolded by his parents, wife, brother even his teacher... I love this man!!!!
his fuckin life was a lie, fuckin sluts from left too right cheating on his wife , drinking ,
pretending to be a muslim so he would not go to war what a fuckin loser hey !! Ali it's OK if you did not want to go to war but at-leas say it don't bull-shit
Notice how Rahman is talking a lot faster than his older bro? The signs were there that Ali was having physical issues, I wonder if the family was quietly noticing.
I had a big crush on him in the early 70s, when I was about 8 years old. Now, I can't seem to get enough of watching old footage of him. I'd forgotten how funny he was in those days.
@SuperPatrick777 What do you mean, "really". Is that a question? I don't remember what I said, but I meant it, certianly. Is that your question? Let me tell you something; if you don't lie when you speak or write then you don't have to wonder what it was you said, nor worry you might have to withdraw your remarks.
@camere while u at i also wanna mention that ali called Patterson the "Rabbit", Liston was the "big Bear", Spinks was "Dracula", Chuvalo was "The Washerwoman", Ernie Terrell was the "Octupus" ,frazier was a "gorrella", and Shavers was the "Acorn." george forman was the mummy..... enjoy the list
I watched this whole clip five or six times now. It's superb! Look at the class of everyone involved. What a treat to see the late Henry Cooper and Joe Frazier. That was indeed the golden age of heavyweight boxing.
@seanjoseph84 Yeah, he said " you can close the show now" because he was embarressed of the Joe's appearance on the show ! Ali looked uncomfortable with his wife, when they saw Frazier ! Remember, this show was years before the thrilla in Manila, I'm pretty sure at that time Ali was targeting Frazier to fight him in a 3th fight.
I'm a little bit shocked the way Ali disrespected Joe Frazier. Even though, I loved him as great boxer, he humiliated a guy ( The late Frazier ) who came to pay him tribute on a TV show.
@camere I couldn`t BELIEVE the extent to wich Ali screwed Frazier over.He didn`t only humiliate him on several occations,he used and abused the friendship with Frazier.Frazier thought Ali was a true friend and Ali totally screwed him over in ADDITION to publicly humiliate him.Joe helped Ali finacially and otherwise when times were tough for Ali just to be assraped by his socalled friend.Ali was a superhuman fighter, but not a good person
@EVILSPAWN1000 he only helped him so he can get in the ring and show people that he deserve the haveyweigh champion, because otherwise people still call ali the champion after he was layed off.
@EVILSPAWN1000 I totally agree with you ! Even if Ali he's a legend in boxing, we have to say the truth to the boxing fans about what he did to Frazier. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Ali as a boxer. But he wasn't a saint as a man. Kharma is a bitch sometimes...
@EVILSPAWN1000 Nobody said Ali was a saint!! He would be the last to say he was perfect... Frazier was no angel either. How many times does a person have to apologise for getting it wrong?! Ali has apologised personally to Frazier and his family. So many people out in YouTube land behave as if THEY are SAINTS, and talk about Karma etc! Leave Ali alone. He's only human. Just like the rest of us.
@jeffguishard It`s just my opinion.I never said Frazier didn`t get anything out of it.Beating Buster Mathins didn`t earn him anything more that the belt itself,so he needed Ali too.But Ali took it above and beyond. As for him ducking the draft, that don`t sit too well with me either. They would never have sent him to Vietnam anyway. He was Mohammad Ali.If anything he would have gone down there as a moralbooster,FAR away from any danger.(continues.Damn 500 letter-thing)
@jeffguishard (continued) I`ve been in the fightgame in some shape or form since 85 AND i did my tour in the army.I have a problem with ablebodied people that don`t step up when their country calls for them,i do.But hey,the man is 70 yrs old today, whats done is done and you`re right.Far be it from me to point fingers at anyone.Congratulations Muhammad Ali.
@EVILSPAWN1000 Ha, I know what you mean about the 500 letter-thing. I must say it's refreshing to have a conversation on YouTube without someone resorting to racism or base ingnorance..like some morons on this page. I was 5yrs old when I sat up with my father and listened to Ali beating Liston in the early hours. From that moment I was hooked! In the US at the time, with regards to the ill-treatment of a man based on the colour of his skin, I think Ali made the right decision.
@EVILSPAWN1000 Remember, with respect to all the other great champions, Ali was no ordinary champion. With his conversion to Islam and his outspoken views on racism and anti-government rhetoric, he may well have become a casualty of friendly-fire.. We would be naive to think that this would be not possible, particularly during the 60's with all the paronia regarding communism and anything or anyone that appeared to be un-american. Ali was no coward! He proved that then and now!
AMEN!I usually never,or VERY rarely engage in any "conversations" here.98% of the tough guys have never been inside a ring and rarely have any vocabulary at all, except "fa**ot,bitch.."I find EAST SIDE BOXING a great forum.Alot of knowledge there."Lace èm up" on facebook is good one.Joey Gamaches sister runs it along with Jameel mcCline.Flap your lip there and you`re exposed in less than 30 sec.lol I`m not gonna drop names, but numerous ex champs and IBHoF`ers there too.Maybe i`ll see you there:-)
Thank you SO MUCH to the uploader of this magnificent video. You have uplifted the spirits more that you will ever know of a man who was at one of the lowest points in his life. I want to wish you nothing but the best for sharing this show at this time. May God bless you always.
Kind of cute at the 42:40 mark approximately, Ali tries to put his one daughter down and she starts crying and screaming. As soon as he picks her up again she is immediately fine : )

@aleksandrpondios no hes great granfather is irish and hes from a place called clay in ireland Ali went back there with hes wife a few years ago its on youtube if you look
illuminati taked him for a really tripp here ha ha,,he must think he's dead and in heaven or somthing ...funny to see that he realy dont know whats happening...(dyslexic)
That was wonderful. I particularly loved the Frazier part. I have read some things that suggest that Joe still hated Ali till the day he died. This clearly shows the respect they both had for each other. Fantastic video and thank you for posting.
@TangledUpInBlue10 You don't have to just read it. Watch the Thrilla in Manila documentary on youtube. I watched it the other week. It's great. It's kind of from Joe Frazers perspective. I don't want to say too much. But you can tell exactly what Joe thought of Ali years after all this.
@bobdigi88 that one is full of lies and certainly made by frustrated people who just yapping about negative, the sad part is that the only time they doc about him is to just complain about ali.

Beautiful video, I never saw it complete until now.
Unbelievable how they got Joe Martin & Fred Stoner together (with Jimmy Ellis)
all at the same time.
The great sprinter Wilma Rudolph was gorgeous, inside & out.
Ali had a big crush on her, still did as it was very obvious how he acted.
So funny to hear her telling post-Olympic stores very few knew of.
Muhammad had excellent taste in beautiful women.
Won't even comment on the great Joe Frazier's presence.

That was wonderful. I particularly loved the Frazier part. I have read some things that suggest that Joe still hated Ali till the day he died. This clearly shows the respect they both had for each other. Fantastic video and thank you for posting.

@TangledUpInBlue10 Well put they both loved each other in the end.
