  • bono to me from 1981-1988 was the best front man ever..

  • the crowd is incredible!!

  • the crowd is incredible!!

  • Bono you prefer? here that of 1984 or 2011, I know there are different times

  • I liked the look of bonoo!!!!!!

  • epicness screm 1:40-1:43

  • U2 were the band of my childhood and youth yeras, which will never come back..... :-(

I LOVE YOU BONO VOX!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU THE EDGE!!!! I LOVE YOU LARRY MULLEN JR!!! I LOVE YOU ADAM!!!!! YOU WERE ALL MY SHELTER IN THE STORM!!!!! AVIAD, ISRAEL!

  • It looks like Larry also lends his voice here too at :50

  • I love the break, before the last chorus.

    Adam´s is a cool guy, 2:37

  • Grat Apresentation.

  • Adam's singing, rare to see!

  • Whoever the Sound Engineer guy was during this gig should be paid an extra million dollars! :-)

  • Bono Ray Cyrus.

Or, this is from Bono's stint on the WWF.

They are one of my all time favorites, but the hair is just horrid.

  • omg bono had hair... xD

    just love this song!

saw them live in Brussels for the first time

got goose bumps when the whole stadium sang..

  • a great band and a fantastic live version of this song...everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I really don't see the point in criticising a band and their music when commenting on one of their videos, what are you trying to achieve by insulting people who do like them or that particular song....I can't stand Coldplay, but I try and avoid commenting on their videos and not upsetting their fans

  • I was there for this gig.

  • i may be in the minority, but i think this dortmund show blows red rocks out of the water, personally.

  • I love these guys ... the band U2 and Dog Savanna are the bands that I like to hear! Viva Rock!

  • I guess we'll agree to disagree Gladius. :-)

  • I wish I could say I didn't agree with you Kelly but I thought the last album was absolute rubbish as well. The last time I thought they were truly great live is around the Slane Castle concert time. When was that? 2005?

  • It doesn't sucks. I mean, some of their new songs are awful, especially 'Get on your boots' but it's not totally rubbish.

  • Eh, 2001.

  • ¡Este es el U2 que a mi me gusta!

  • Oh ye of little faith, open your ears kelly. Don't try to be so cool, you end up freezing.

  • @joewillant hahaha love it, i'm a big fan of anti-cooler-than-thou comebacks.

  • Isn't is sad how great they were compared to now. The new single is garbage as was the last album. Heard the new album and it totally SUX! What happened to them? Looks like I have to spend the next 10 years listening to their old stuff because the new stuff is crap and they take 5 years to make albums and 4 years to tour. In other words, they are dead to me.

  • shut the fuck up, go jump in front of a train and die, cunt. The new song rocks, so does the last album

  • Woah your a piece of shit. Do you really think U2 was just going to sound like themselves back in the 1980s or 1990s? Bands will always experiment and do different things. So take that stick out of your bloody vagina and go to a U2 concert.

  • The mullet king: bono! Ha ha. Great performance of one of their best songs. New single of U2 does not impress me though.

  • One of the best u2 era, Bono has a great extreme hair, like a rock and roll King.

  • i will follow indeed since 82 u2 full flow these 4 knew when they met, a mixture never seen in music .unleashed with soul passion intent no escaping this 1.

  • i have wrote this on like 100 U2 videos lol, but i'll say it again....i remember buying WAR on my 13th birthday in 1983, and that lp changed my life. isn't it awesome they're reissuing their first 3 lp's w/ bonus tracks this summer?

though much more awesome is a new lp coming out at the end of the year.....4 years is too long a wait!

  • nothing like u2 early years.

  • Indeed! To think they had the courage to make this music and present it to the masses with a passion. Bono was 25 when this was done. The other guys same age range. I know of very few that could put the music together and make it work. They have been a formidable force in our generation The energy they generated is incomparable. They are willing to stand up for their country's rights and gives others the same courage. Rebel songs, protests songs, enjoyable songs. No labels necessary. U2 is Love.

  • Stand up for their countries rights? i think not.... good music..yes..republicans? no...

  • cuculainn57:How are you? Thanks for responding You know, dude. I really don't even understand what your comment means. I am sure we could have a nice conversation sometime, but I doubt very seriously that THIS U2 song sung 23 yrs ago has a friggin thing to do with the shitstorm in our country right now. PLEASE NO offense intended.I did not mean it that way. I am just so sick and worried now with the Asses, Elephants and the Village Idiot in control, I don't know whether I am coming or going. :)

  • What a concert that was. U2 AT THEIR BEST

  • The passion in Bono's voice is incredible... I'd give anything to hear it again

  • Yes, he was a powerhouse in his 20's. We were lucky to have experienced his and the rest of the bands passion. We still hear his voice. I it just a bit softer and mellower. You know we will always have the fresh voiced, freedom fighters voice in our head and hearts. :)

  • prpqmnj: It is still there, just a little different. Passion has moved all over his body, his voice is where we first heard it and learned to love it. He shows passion in many ways now. I do know what you mean, though. Early 20's, no fear, dancing, teaching us to love U2. All of them are great in their own way. If you get to see the U2 D movie produced with National Geographic that is out now, GO. It is magical. Cheers and keep the music loud. :)

  • dude! impressive footage! look at the crowd...they're INTO it!

  • Can you imagine having that much talent??? Being willing to share the talent with all of us. Don't know what habits, if any they had over the years, but they respected themselves and us enough to play their asses off and also get involved in other great causes. I wonder if they know how INCREDIBLE they are. I am thankful to have experienced them. The new 3D has some pretty good energy in it. See it if you can. Thanks, U2. What a great ride you have given us. :)
