Probably all people complaining about this line up haven't actually seen them live. Slash was great, but he is not a Gunner any more. DJ Ashba is a great addition. I can't wait for the new material.
@Yangarin I have seen this line up, twice .DJ Ashba sucks. He is there for his charisma on stage, doing his Hulk Hogan "I can't hear you" hand-to-ear schtick. He's not a very talented guitar player, not even on the same planet as Slash. Bumblefoot is cool, and so is Fortus, but DJ sucks, plain and simple.
@DustNRoses I don't agree at all. DJ Ashba is a very talented musician. You can listen to his own work with Sixx: am (Life is Beautiful, Lies of the Beautiful people). He makes his own music and is awesome.
@Yangarin I've heard sixx am. lies of the beautiful people is a very catchy tune. He writes very basic, catchy, easy-to-listen music, so I guess that qualifies as being talented. But his overall guitar skill is very, very mediocre...that's why you always see bumblefoot and fortus taking the hard solo's, while dj gets the easier, slower ones. It's just a fact man... sorry to break it to you.

I would just like to point out nothing in this video or in any video can actually showcase what talent these guys really have. You have to be there to experience it. You have to be there to experience all of the energy, passion, and effort these guys put into the shows.You get the pyro, confetti, and little things here and there. So don't say Slash is better than New GNR until you have actually been to a New GNR concert. Music is one thing, putting on a show is another.

the original lineup, I was too little for it too actually mean something to me, the current lineup is great and Axl is happy with it, even if somehow they got together for the RnR hall of fame event it'd be only for one show cause I can't imagine Axl just walking away from his current bandmates and about his ego, he is bipolar so yeah, he is just what he is..
