This process basically is the same on all other AK variants. There may be a few differences but otherwise it is the same.

@Lectuer buy a barrel extension/silencer/flash hider or what-have-you, then buy a barrel that is the combined length or your airsoft gun's original barrel and the aforementioned silencer. then install both. just remember: O.G. barrel+silencer=new barrel. hope that helped/that im not making an ass of myself on youtube.

I have an action aim ak-74 and am thinking about installing a 591mm or 650mm 6.03 tightbore. Which one would give me the best performance range and accuracy wise? The gun has a ribbed type 0 cylinder and I want the barrel that will give me the best performance out of my gun without having to make any changes to the internals.

No idea. But an m100 can be used in any TM gearbox, but you probably want to change to metal bushings. M110 is fine too, but a m120 means you are going to need new stuff like a metal spring guide, sometimes a piston, etc.

alright i was cleaning my barrel by putting the cleaning rod in with a cloth i sprayed silicone oil in nd shot it to see if it works nd the distance went down is there anyway to fix that i would really appreciate it

You have to turn off your hop-up before you lube the gun.

I would definetly not recommend Crossman or any other type of mid or low grade BB's in a tightbore; ESPECIALLY a 6.03, because you will get lots of jams and your barrel will degrade very fast. You should get KSC or TSD, Excel, Tokyo Marui, etc.

Yes, if it is a small black rubber cylinder then that is the hop-up. You can either take the hop-up assembly apart or turn off the hop-up and insert the hop-up into the arm that puts it into the barrel. If you need any more help, I'd be happy to help.

my guarder hop up came with a little black spacer, and i think I lost my stock spacer, or I dont even know if it came with a spacer, but where does it go?

I am pretty sure that if the spacer is rubber, then it is the hop-up itself. It goes into the hop-up unit itself on the arm that lowers itself into the barrel.

Great tutorial, 4/5 - but just a couple tips on editing - make your music at the beginning and end a little quieter so my eardrums don't get raped/I don't have to turn up my volume to hear you talking. Also, don't edit the clips as choppy.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I can't stress enough how once you get a tightbore, only use Excel, Tokyo Marui, and maybe KSC BB's. (Omega also good and other very high quality BB's).

does it matter what type of barrel you get as long as its a ak47 or ak47-s barrel. how did you know what type of barrel to get for your ak and what could i do to now the type/size of mine so i can buy a new barrel for it thanks.

Yes, you should be able to buy either an AK-47 or AK-47S barrels because they are the same size. As for the diameter, the smaller it is, the more accurate and improvment you get. The one that I use is a KM Titanium 6.03 mm barrel for AK-47. Also I reccomend any Systema 6.04 barrels for AK's, which are for less cost.

An AK47 barrel is 459mm so remember to get that. Get a 6.04 or 6.03 for minor-medium increased accuracy. Get a 6.01 for extreme accuracy. Remember if you get a 6.01 there is an increased chance of having a jam ONLY IF YOU USE CRAPPY CROSMANS!!!

Yes, xx0ur3n is very right.  When you buy a tightbore, ONLY USE EXCEL OR TOKYO MARUI BB's, or you could use KSC but I would stick to the more expensive and higher quality.
