If the Mountaineers ever played the hokies im pretty sure the would get slaughtered because they only play no name teams. yea vt does to but we didnt play almost all division 2 teams. Vt's schedule is way harder than wvu. and wait whats the hokies record?? oh yea under frank beamer is 201-23-1.

@swedishsnowboarder we played 1 FCS team. so did VT. we played 2 lower level teams, VT played one (due to more conference games and us being forced by the governor to play Marshall. we played then #2 LSU (which we lost but still). VT didnt play a ranked non conference opponenent. and the first ranked team they played they got slaughtered at home 23-3. at least we could score a TD against our ranked team. oh and i almost forgot, whats WVU's record over VT? 28-22-1!

@wvmtneer96 y don't u go look up vts stats over wvu. Clemson beats us because obviously they are a better team i know virginia tech isnt consistent and it shows. But put Vt and Wvu to play and wvu wouldnt be able to stop David Wilson. Sure we might have a freshmen quarter back who was originally tight end but wvu wouldnt hold up. they might score points. I do believe they are a good team they just lack multiple weapons on their offense and defense.

@swedishsnowboarder i did look up vt vs wvu stats and wvu has a 28-22-1 winning record over vt. we dont lack weapons on our offense as i would think you know. the only thing we dnt have is a great halfback. i think it would be a close game between us. and i also think depending on where the teams played at would determine who would win. as morgantown and blacksburg are both great atmospheres with rowdy fans.

@swedishsnowboarder man it was terrible. just poor coaching. we were outcoached and outplayed. our players didnt show up to play and werent ready to play. same story for the whole season. i just think dana holgorsen isnt ready to be a head coach yet. the players arent prepared and its the same problems weve had all year that still arent fixed. we can get away by not showing up in the first half at home but not at away games.

Don't get me started about Virginia Tech's weak out-of-conference schedule this season. VT takes ONE season off to break in a BRAND NEW quarterback like EVERY OTHER team does and everyone's got their panties in a wad. Get over it.

Also, we haven't played WVU because you guys were so disrespectful. Not surprising given the student body WVU lets in. If you wanted to play us at Lane Stadium, that might be a different story. And don't even try to say that we're scared of playing in Morgantown, because we kicked your butts there in the last meeting and have a pretty good history of winning there. Morgantown homefield advantage isn't that good. We'll see how the Mountaineers do in the Big 12.

Theres like 3 good teams in it. And it doesnt matter if you guys moved to a better conference, you can still schedule out of conference games dumbass. WVU offered to play you pussies for 4 more years in 05 and you wouldnt sign the contract to play. Your scared of us. And oh BTW WVU has a 28-22-1 winning record over VT.

@wvmtneer96 I didn't say the Big 12 was a bad conference, hence "like you're about to." wvu's gonna move up & get whipped, every year. Tech turned you down because VT got tired of stomping you every season. VT schedules better out of conference games now: LSU, Alabama 4 times, Boise State, Wisconsin twice, & OSU twice.
