There is a story behind this screw up. This was a the old Capital Center on the final night of the 2 or 3 day show and WWDC (DC 101) was broadcasting at the show and Cerphe who worked at DC 101 at the time on the evening shift talked to Gene after the show was over and Gene made some excuse for Peter though I have forgotten what it was and for days the guys at DC 101 talked about this blunder and laughed at it.. That was 30 years ago and I cannot remember what Gene said that night to Cerphe.
