ok, if the file is still a GIF in the folder you've saved it in.

This is what you need to do.

In the folder you've saved the .gif file, click tools at the top, then folder options, and then click on the view tab.

uncheck the box that says 'hide extensions for known file types' press apply and ok. now the file that was a .gif will say .gif at the end of it, now you8 can rename it to a .flv and it will ask you the option if you want to change the file type click ok. hope this helped.

This won't work for me. When I try to change .x-flv to .flv, it won't work. And the "Freez to MP3" that I downloaded looks different. Same keys and what not, but still different. And when I try to open the file, it says the file isn't supported. So I changed the endings to one of the supported files, like WMA & it still wouldn't work. Help me, please!

please check few past comments, before posting a question. imeem has changed the format of it's music files from *.x-flv to *.gif. try to rename the large gif-file you get to *.flv and proceed as shown...

Yeah, Frostwire is what I use. The songs I want are Hawaiian/Tahitian & so it's really hard to find them. The only way I know how is to buy the CD's. Nothing else works so far =/
