  • My kettlebell is only 10lbs but I will be upgrading due to this awesome video I loved it.

  • It is very nice video. i like it.

  • niceeeee

  • i like it

  • I just bought some kettlebells - this mini workout is a really good starting point, thanks. Ordered your DVD off Amazon, looking forward to gaining control back over my figure before Summer :)

  • Thank you for posting this video. I really like this routine (and the music and video are cool as well) =)

  • music? who by?

  • im not quite sure what you gain from swinging it with so much momentum..

i have a 8kg kettlebell (and im a guy) and i'd say your cheating.. if you just use your arm and keep your back straight at all times your gonna work your muscles out more... unless the aim is to raise your heart beat?

  • @simonking195 The swing isn't meant to be an arm exercise; all the effort comes from the hips and glutes. Your arms are just going along for the ride.

  • do you recommend a dvd for a male, 53, who has a lot of belly to lose?

  • I just wanted to make a suggestion, which I totally support. Your putting more videos out there, to compete with that......charliejames. In all honesty, you could be one of the top 2 on this site, .....thumbs up!

  • Wow the swing to press ups looks a really good idea; going to have to try that, but with greater reps

  • 2:34 Damn it, I actually got up and went to see who rang the doorbell.

  • @KRITICALConscious hahaha me too, and it was late at night. 'Who the hell is ringing my door bell? Get off my lawn you damn kids!!!!!"

  • @KRITICALConscious

    yeah, me too :D

  • @KRITICALConscious thats funny..

  • Can I do kettle bell workouts 3 times a week and HIIT 3 times a week on alternate days?

  • I really like your videos, kqueen. I'm trying to add kettlebell to my usual cardio routine to get some weight work into the mix. Echoing an earlier question - what's an appropriate weight for a middle-age beginner guy (52) with little weighttraining in his background?

  • Thanks for the great workout! Gonna try it tomorrow!

  • love the turkish get-up situps, never seen this variation thanks : )!

  • As a guy using a 44lb kettle bell I found this to be a great morning routine. Awesome stuff Kbellqueen.

  • Hi, how many calories do I burn with 5 rounds, just about?

  • Just purchased your Body Sculpt and Conditioning DVD. I am using DVD 5-6 days a week. How many days a week do you recommend using kettlebells?

  • @wolferysgirl It all depends on your current activity level going in to it. Anywhere between 3-4 times a week would be good. Although, it's nice to mix it up with other activities so your body does not get use to one type of training. Thanks, Lauren

  • How many times a week do you recommend doing kettlebells? Just purchased your DVD and have been using it 5-6 times a week.

  • wow, you are something. i'm new to this kind of workout, and i must say you inspire me. how often do you workout.

  • Looks like a great workout, Your technique on the TGU situps is awsome.

Your swings look odd to me though, its clear your glutes and ham's are doing the work and your arms are relaxed... just cant put my finger on it :P

Great work though! Keep it up

  • great workout. the kb swings are great!!

  • Love all your work outs! How heavy should the kettlebell be? I have a 15lbs one.. is that fine or too heavy?

  • @marysinn

Thank you Marysinn. 15lb is definitely not too heavy. I recommend the average female starting with an 18lb and gradually moving to a 26lb. Good luck!

  • Thank you so much for making guides for those of us that have had a c-sec and thought it was hopeless. I have used the KB's for 1 week and have been eatting clean for 2. I am down 7 lbs!! Thank you so much!

  • This looks like a great workout. i got your DVDs and they are great. Im starting to see ab definition, wow. Thanks for making a fun and effective workout. I hope you make more quick work-along workouts videos on youtube

  • great workout and music LGB ... your pushups though ;-)

  • Tommy,

Those push ups are from being pregnant with a huge baby and then 2 C-section in 2 years. I have finally been able to fix myself. But I was trained to keep my abs so tight that my big pregnant belly wouldn't touch the ground. Amazing how the body takes awhile to rewire itself! Will post more soon!

  • Lauren, you are awesome! Love all of your videos! I am new to kettlebell training and I am so motivated to train with your videos. You break things down so fantastically simple - I love working out with you! Keep up the great work!

  • Thank you so much! 8-)

  • I love this workout video. Lauren knows her stuff. But every time I watch this video some one ding dong ditches me! :)

  • Loved it! Please do more videos and keep going! :)

  • Good to see you back to making video's :) Good workout

  • Great vid!

  • Can't wait to try these exercises. If all of us can look like you after this amazing workout, we will be blessed with an awesome sculptured body. So glad you shared this with youtube. Looking forward to getting your next dvd!

  • Awesome!

  • Thanks I'll try this, BTW you have made some great kettlebell workout dvd's around thanks, keep them coming, and you're in great shape to just have had a little one congrats btw

  • Wow, if you're 110lbs then how tall are you? Cause you look pretty tall. BTW I got your DVD and the 18lb kettlebell. I LOVE IT. My favorite thing to do is the the swings, and switch the kettlebell from arm to arm.

Thanks for this video. I will have to try it soon...

  • I'm just under 5'3. So glad you love the DVD! Swings are very fun! I will be releasing another one in a couple months.

  • When you swing, are your arms doing anything at ALL? When I do it I jerk my shoulders a bit for the initial momentum, should I be doing that?

  • Hardly! Swings are majority coming from the power of the hips. You really shouldn't feel it much in your arms or shoulder. For example I am 110 pounds and can easily swing a 70 pound bell, only because the power is coming from my hips.

  • finally u ve made a new video :D thanx a lot! do more pls :)

  • Yes thought I'd do a quick video clip, while the real DVD's are being made!! While this works, the DVD's are thousand times better for working out to. 8-) But thanks I may do a couple more of these clips.
