@leonlai1988 This is different from the San Diego Zoo. Here the animals having bigger living environments and I personally LOVE this wild animal park more then the normal San Diego Zoo.

Isn't the park awesome? I live in SD, so I go there often. It's nice to take a long walk through there...and I see you saw the Okapi! Very cool! They're my favorite animal! They're a relative of the girraffe, not zebra or horse like they look. They have long, purple-black tounges!

You could if you wanted, I have, but you have to be there the whole day to see most everything. It closes kind of early unless it's summer, so you have to plan what you want to see in advance, kind of.

This is the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. It's like a wildlife preserve...there's a big old valley with caravan tours and everything! :D

the san diego zoo is one of the best zoos in the country, good habitats, animals in good shape and are obviously content, and the animals arent ALONE in their captive homes.

I`m in San Diego now on vaccation. I don`t know if I`m going to the zoo or the wild animal park or both. The zoo is famous but some say that it`s nothing special.

The zoo was good but not the best zoo that I have been to. I got to see the panda and I didn´t wait in line for so long.

If I go to San Diego again and stay there a while I want to go to the wild animal park. Some say that you don´t see so many animals and that you have to pay more money to do activities like safaries etc.

I dont think you have to pay extra for the safari, it goes around the biggest enclosure for the animals so its really cool. And the cheetahs are almost always out, along with the lions, and they are making a new place for the tigers, where your more likly to see them. The pandas are cool, but i think that the best part is the Clouded Leopards.

my band was in the 08' Rose Parade and we went to the zoo while we were there, its awsome, and Okapis are my favorite animal, that was the only time i have ever seen them up close! :)

Great video. In the early 80's I lived in nearby Ramona and Poway and spent my summers there and at the Zoo in youth programs. This brings back some good memories, thanks for sharing.
