  • 70,000 Rs? I think I should get one of these shipped to Canada. I'm sure it would end up costing about the same as a Honda CBR 125 but this has about 8 more HP and I'll be the only person who has one.

  • @shankoathreiya: I do know that japnese manufacture better bikes but Indians bother about fuel economy as well. If u consider both performance and fuel economy I still rate bajaj higher. For eg consider karizma(having honda engine) has pathetic fuel economy, same with yamaha fz,fzs etc(with 150cc engine). honda unicorn performance sucks big time.. So wat makes them better? U can claim build quality and their spares are better but they charge hell lot of money for the same.

  • @prathapwagle i know alot better 125cc bikes and 250 cc bikes. Japanese and American motorcycle companies are the best motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Compared to them this bike is nothing but a matchstick in a matchbox... or in other words insignificant.

  • hi i supposed u know enough about bajaj...im a pilipino and i just got my bajaj rouser (pulsar) 200. its so beautiful and sporty. this is totally a new technology here in the philoppines. my question is, how durable is it? can some friends from your place please share some experience with this bike? advantages and disadvantages?...and oh it says in the manual that i cannot run faster than 65km/h during break-in period untill 1000 km? please tell me

    How roughly or smoothly you use your bike during your run-in period determines how well behaved your bike engine will be for the rest of the bike-life. So even if boring, stick to not more than 65 km/hour speed upto 1000 km. The bike itself can run faster than that but in the interest of your bike don't do it. I don't have bajaj bike yet but my father's bajaj scooter lasted 20 years with small regular maintenance and overhaul.

  • yea buddy, keep the bike within 60-70 km for the first 1000 km ...this they say will help the engine mature better, can yu ask a newly born baby to write thesis on hydrocarbons? hahaha! pulsar 200 is pretty good man, the pickup and overall performance is good, if yu take care of the bike yull find that there are no major problems...just some small niggles here and there which are very minor! i think the top speed here for pulsar 200 is 128kph. after 1000km tell me how fast it goes....peace!

  • They removed Fuel Injection technology to cut on the costs. This is like going backwards in technology. As a pulsar fan, I hate this.

    Fuel Injection costs approx 18000rupees.but the incorporation of such technologies was seen as a radical step forward.

  • Any yea i may lack in vocab, but i know how it feels like when u control and ride a good bike that feeling is priceless and i am openly saying this to all this bike will never give u that feeling.. u can do show offs, stunts, races wid it but from d bottom of ur heart u cant satisfy because it got no separate identity..this is going to be like splendor i think..

  • dtsi is better in accordance to accelration and speed and is free from most of the gizmos.

    dtsfi is more fuel efficient though because of those very same gizmos.

    you can notice that the fatty didn't said anything about the mileage of the dtsi

  • dude what does honda and yamahas higher end bikes have,a bigger powerful and refined engine,cant compare that to bajaj's smaller capacity engines..and bajaj ruining the country,it was bajaj and tvs,purely indian made bikes that brought the smaller 150cc bikes with good fuel efficiency and reasonable power.

Bajaj with the Pulsar changed the way india started biking...each time they set the standards and b4 competition can catch up they define new rules. The machine for what its worth is absolute pleasure without burning a hole in your pocket. honda and Yam may hav superior technology but yams r way too expensive and honda is nowhere in the game... so until they get better bikes this is it!!
