Jimmy got the job over lots of people so he clearly did have talent. His humour may not be to your taste but that doesn't mean he's not a funny person. He's said it himself - he doesn't consider himself a good actor. He done some great impressions + songs on the show and was part of some of the funniest sketches I can remember. It's somebody having fun, stop being so miserable.

The casts from the post 911 mark until present day have really gotten bad. They aren't nealry as good as the Ferrel, MShannon, Katan, O'terie(sp), etc..casts. 90's cast to be more accurate. I just think the show was legendary when younger and now totaly disenchanted with it now. It sucks dude !!!!!

I couldn't stand Jimmy Fallon at first but he grew on me. But, as I rewatch these I think his cracking up during every sketch was either contrived or a sign of idiocy. No, never saw it. I kinda phased out during that time frame of SNL, but I always thought RD was an underated player. Actually, one of my fav sketches is when Ferral broke in the one where he was trying to be patriotic and wore daisy dukes with American colors after 9/11, Him breaking just made the skit funnier.
