I'm a douche for saying Shai Hulud rips off Strongarm as a joke? Shai Hulud are one of my favourite bands and in the time I've spent in the company of Matt Fox he generally takes jokes about the first album sounding like Strongarm pretty well.

Uhm, not to like... argue about something on the internet, but Shai Hulud were pioneers of the modern metalcore style and are still better than 93.4% of their imitators, storm picturesque included. I've seen them many times and they always provided a 100% experience. And the G was my second (or at least third) home.

Hmmm.... I've heard a lot of rave about this band because one of the bands that I love is playing with them. I gotta say, in my opinion, this band aren't even in the same league as The Storm Picturesque.

Don't get me wrong, they sound great for the style they're playing, but it seems weird to have a band like The Storm Picturesque play with these guys.

The Storm are easily one of the better bands playing their style in NSW, but a bunch of metal kids who rip off Architects have nothing on Shai Hulud. That being said Matt Fox is a metalhead that rips off Strongarm hahahahha.

i used to go see them back when L&G in connecticut was open... man those were the days... saw some sick shows at that bar - atreyu, boy sets fire, shai hulud.... many other cool hardcore bands. by the way, matt fox (guitarist of shai hulud) = epic!
