Nice vid! Cool music and editing. Looking forward to seeing Rodriguez again, he is scheduled for next FNF. Unfortunate what happened in the Oscar Diaz fight (coma for Diaz), but this is part of all sport.
Ok Delvin...You have build a nice record...Time to step-up the Competition. Plenty of talent from 147-154lbs. No need to continue to stay on ESPN2 against BUMS!!! Even if your not ready for the ELITES at that weight...At least fight the some of the guys at the "Middle of the Pack"...Judah, Colllazo, Urango, Deandre Lattimore, Cory Spinks, Cintron, james Kirkland, Mike Jones. STEP-IT-UP!!!!
oh darryl you gotta get out more homie, you wrote that comment about 2 months after delvin signed to fight for the IBF welterweight championship of the world.... not exactly espn2 calaber fight brother
If I said it 2, 4 6, 8 months ago...it still makes my statement NO LESS valid!!!!
Plenty on YOUNG sonn-to-be ELITE level fighters waiting for a Legit opponent. And plenty of Talent who have been in with the best and came up short. Time to STEP-IT-UP!!!!
it matters cause you said it 3 months after he signed to fight for a WORLD TITLE! the competition Rodriguez has faced recently, has been anything but soft! his last 5 opponents have had a combined record of 106-6-2. thats an astonishing winning percentage of 93% he just fought shamone alvarez , a top notch contender, and then a mandatory for a world title shot. not exactly hand picked bums... but i guess for every title contender out there, theres a thousand arm chair quarterbacks to criticize..
OK...So to make your point, you mentioned Shamone Alverez!!! WOW...Need I say more. Take a look at a kid like Luis Collazo...Who was thrown in the ring with the Elites Hatton, Mosley and Berto...And in the eyes of many won two of those fights. THATS STEPPIN' IT UP!!!! There is a Young Welterweight names Antwone Smith from Miami...he's 18-1...I would love Rodriguez to fight him!!!!
dont know elites hatton, but i do know that delvin would kill for a fight with berto, or mosley.. its not that simple though, you dont just get big fights, you have to be lucky. i lived in camp with delvin for a year in NY, we had the same trainer and manager. we went to sarasota to watch berto fight on espn so delvin could look at him before he foguth him. he tried to get that fight, but berto didnt want it. delvin foguht the best fighters he could get his hands on. its not as simple as u think
hopefully a close split decision loss in a world title fight doesnt move him to the back of the barrell... he should still be considered a top contender
FlyersFn87 what do you do? your nobody... your most notorious for writing under youtube clips... go out and get some kind of accomplishment for yourself so you dont have to keep writing negative shit about people who are winning fights in IBF title eliminators against tough opposition... and when your done doing that... go ahead and suck my dick while you keep your opinion of what my sperm tastes like to yourself, cause bobody gives a shit what you think
Yo Devlin, if you can somehow rad this. Please keep your chin down and throw shorter punches and be more dependent on the jab...Keep it up man, we need the sport of boxing to grow on the dominican people
i just finished watching this guy on friday night fights, he has a nice power shot but besides that nothing else, he has a glass jaw that will not allow him to become a great name, it seemed like any punch alvarez threw on delvin chin, delvin was hurt a little, it seems like if u just touch delvin chin all u will hear is glass shatter
personally i know delvin he is a nice guy and probably got mad money but aint no show off a good boxer plus hes dominican so yhea i guess you got alot to hate on .. ....
delvin is the real deal, his coach lou fusco has done an amazing job with him, the kids a throwback whos going to win the title very soon, hes a nice guy outside the ring, but he doesnt talk a whole lot
The best & the most brutal KO: Rodríguez vs Conyers !! It's by far the most spectacular KO I saw. It was August 2004, when he was put up against Allen Conyers. In the fifth round, Delvin's brutal punches made the difference when he launched a combination that sent Conyers out of the ring through the ropes. There was Conyers on the concrete unconcious totally. My God, almost he killed his opponent!
he don't need to learn shit from no damn feliciano whos feliciano he aint shit i would like to see feliciano fight miguel cotto and get his ass destroy by cotto there is always a chance remember u always come back just like pav vs taylor. pav came back in the late rounds and win the fight proberly if they do a rematch rodriguez would win
damn he was doing good dumb ass feliciano i used to practice boxing with my friends and they say i have good power punches i wish i was a boxer i woulder destroy the gay ass feliciano for him
i'm a fighter and i can say he just misjudged felicianos chin and outpunched himself. much like the first taylor pavlik fight. he'll come back if he has the work ethic which showed last night. hopefully he stays on the winning track. big white fan of his rite here.
It's a shame he lost to Feliciano on Friday Night Fights. He was winning the entire fight but got caught and never recovered from the knockdowns. Rodriquez needs to work on his defense since he keeps his left hand really low. His chin is also a bit questionable since Feliciano isn't a big puncher and he didn't really hit him with hard shots to stop him in the fight. I hope he recovers and makes his way back up.
it was funny how he knock the guy out of the boxing ring

The judges robbed him in his last fight. He's much better than his record indicates. No slouch, that's for sure. Hard puncher with nice skills.
