  • Brutal diesel sound? hmm. i can tell you its nothing against the Czech Class 751 or British Class 20-25 and few of CLass 37,9 (37 905 37 906). have a nice day

  • @george911751

Is that right? But they do not drive here ... do they? Have a ......day!

  • consider the environment before printing??

  • @mrcobus86

    Ignorant nonsense.

Keep in mind, I'm just the photographer. Nothing else, and the text does not harm the environment.

  • @TheHeavyload hahah i`m just sarcastic about the amount of wood which is passing by which turns in to printing paper. I`m working on ships and pleasure yachts with big diesel engines. so don't worry i`m a anti environmentalist.

  • @mrcobus86 Ok. Sorry that I misunderstood what you meant.

Less of the timber being used to paper today. The timber is now in your ice cream or toothpaste.

Today transforming more than 90% of their biomass feedstock to marketable chemicals, the final 10% of the biomass used for internal energy production.

  • Nice to know some of our old InterCity locomotives still runs around the world. They used them on the DSB InterCity service at 140Km/h when I grew up (70´is)! The whisling sound of the engines when caling at a station was like music.

  • @JanMolin Takk for kommentar.

  • Over 80.000 visninger !

  • WTF man ! ! ! they emptied whole forest on this train. At this rate there will be no trees in not to distant future.

  • @wildwizardplanet

I totally agree with you. 40 years ago, the train carried large logs.

    Now they carry toothpicks.

    Still, thanks for watching

  • @wildwizardplanet Lol, CN runs 8000 foot trains of wood and wood products everyday out of B.C. That's a lot of wood!

  • Wow! Definetly pedal to the metal. Hammer time!

  • @lasalleman Thanks for your comment!

  • i sound like that when i have a heavy load

  • Hærlig lyd mann!! hatt ett noen slike oppi distriktet her også. gikk nå'n Petersons, over røros bana, tøfft og høre, når dem kommer på full guff i motbakkene. :) Takk for att du delte med oss! :D

  • impressive load for that one engine...

  • thats one tough engine....wobblefluff got it right.........the little engine that could!!!

  • @capnvancouver Thanks for nice comments.

  • WOMBAT STUCK IN MUD ... WATCH OUT ...

  • The Little Engine That, Like, Totally Could.

  • @wobblefluff Ehh....ok!?

  • That's a lot of wood.

  • I torque I can I torque I can I torque! ha

  • @castoni2 Thank you watched the movie.

  • Snart 70000 visninger, bra jobba !

  • @ttrainmixx

Takk for det. Snart 72000 nå.

    Har vært heldig med den.

  • Great video

  • The best video I've ever seen that shows the brute force of these engines, amazing!

  • @CapeCodBirdfeeder

     Thanks.You make me proud now.

  • Lol cool! we need some of those type of log cars here in Canada with our logging industry the way it is.

  • @ANBratlie Hei! Takk for hyggelig tilbakemelding.

Du har så rett. Dette ble filmet ved Aspedammen.

  • @MrTubetraveller 2TE116 is a bigger locomotive with 272 tons

and MzII weighs 116.5 tons...but it has a grown up sound.

  • Sister of locomotive renfe 3000 or 333

  • @renfe447operadora Hola! Thank you for watching.

Renfe 3000/333 is as you know was built by Vossloh. MzII is built by NOHAB and Frich in Sweden. Motor GM 16-645 E3 Performance 3300 hk/2426 kW

  • @TheHeavyload Wow, is more potente

  • There were no EMD's "struggling" in this video. That train was bookin' it! EMD power baby!

  • @GP9railfan You have absolutely right. The EMD power pack did the slopes quite easily. PS. Sorry my Google translation. Hope you understand most of it.

  • just one engine pulling that load?! thats amazing.

  • Where in Norway is this?

  • @lordmattis94

I'm sorry. All marks on the maps on Youtube fall out. It does not help to reset the map location.

The film is taken up in the eastern part of Norway near the Swedish border.

  • you couldnt pull that up on a sixpence

  • In some forest in europe there is a squirrel wondering where in the hell his home went.

  • @kingmike40

Too bad that the squirrel loses his home, because we read newspapers and everything else that the tree gives us.

But I had recorded the train, if it also carried grain.

  • i myself prefer steam engines

  • @Mrfiiks

Steam trains are much nicer than diesel, but here in Norway we do not see them as often as we want.

  • its disscusting how muhc trees is on that train

  • Was ist daran BRUTAL ??

  • My favourite part was the first 30 seconds.

  • very great!!!!!!!

  • Wow GOT WOOD?

  • And how many matchsticks is that?

  • @Squarerig

Well .... not a single one, because Borregaard owns and operates the world's most advanced biorefinery. By using natural, sustainable raw materials as this timber, the company produces advanced and environmentally friendly biochemicals, biomaterials and bioethanol that can replace oil-based products. ;-)

  • I live in New York. I see 3 or 4 of such machines on 150+ cars all the time. EMD Rocks!!!

  • @JohnBee76 So lucky you are. It does not run so often around here. The track is designed for electric locomotives.

This is a private company, which has several diesel locomotives, which operate here now and then.

  • @JohnBee76 I live in Australia and I see them on 234 cars. Unfortunately the 336 car trains don't happen any more but I did get some on tape before they finished.

  • @CMI1986X64 well in Germany the trains are also shorter than in the US, but the reason here is the partly very high frequency of trains, on some trackes they run the possible maximum of trains, every few minutes a train is passing. And another reason is that they are very fast (normally faster than in the US,), they often run also on highspeed tracks which are normally used by e.g. the InterCityExpress

  • Wow!! and no help either!!

  • @MrDeacco Yes, without a push in behind. The Diesel beast needed no assistance.

  • got wood?

  • Good! TRAIN is the future, TRUCKS is the no future.

  • great video

  • @lmogden1 Thanks.

  • Incredible General Motors...King of the power and sound on the railroads!!!

  • @TheMajumun It is so true. Thanks for your comment.

  • WTF?

  • meaty -

  • Comment removed

  • If the maximum axle load is 25 tons, it it quite easy to calculate the approximate weight of the train. The loco is pulling a heavy load.

  • Power power power.........

  • They sound quite good, don't they?

  • @mekydro Oh yes! It filled me with a good sound when it passed.

  • An Australian railway company (Independent Rail) bought I believe 16 MZ units from Denmark. After a little work and a paint job they are running around the Standard gauge lines from Newcastle to Melbourne. These locomotives are not bad for 3000HP units.

  • Well you are misinformed then, course they are Mz III with 3900 HP and a GM diesel engine type 20-645E3 Build by Nohab Sweden. In Denmark they where approved fore a max load of 1800 Tons Top speed 165 Km = 102 Mph And the older versions Mz I and Mz II are 3300 HP and GM diesel engine type 16-645E3 Speed 145 Km

    Best regards Niels K Krag

  • @AustNRail

Are you kidding, they bought this worn out garbage ?

  • An Australian railway company (Independent Rail) bought I believe 16 MZ units from Denmark. After a little work and a paint job they are running around the Standard gauge lines from Newcastle to Melbourne.

  • @CMI1986X64 how is a train with 1 engine going to be long in the first place? use your common sense

  • @CMI1986X64 No problem dude. Norwegian trains are much shorter than the train in the United States. Small countries, small train.

  • @TheHeavyload then you have to think that its just 1 LOCO, so i dont think is short for that reason...if we had other terrain and tracks here in the north, we also could run 10 locos and 200wagons;)

  • little train

  • @clfetter Yes, of course .... just like your dick.

Tommel opp.

  • @Jonern67 Takk for det Jonern!

Sto i Sarpsborg i morges.

  • @Trainhobby98 Takk for det.
