Its the little things in life sometimes that make all the bad stuff just go away... even if just for a minute.... Wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing.
That dragonfly knows you besides loving the native flute music. :) There are real special stories like yours, including a true story of a butterfly visiting a lady every day I once saw on a show. That lady also recorded the experience on video and in pictures; the butterfly would arrive around the same time of the day and rest on a chair in her yard, on her hand, shoulder, n the like. :)
"He" has his wings in a unique position. Most dragonflies have them 'straight out' when they alight. His are 'pressed down' as if he is signaling something like "I'm more relaxed here, thanks : ) "
How BLESSED you and I are! To have had such an experience in this lifetime. I still cherish mine. I'm smiling for you. Please keep me informed as to how your visits go. I'd love to hear about them. And keep filming. I let 3 days go by before grabbing my camera. Film film film!
And yes, it was a MGICAL time in my life. Thank you so much for contacting me!
@Humm1ngbear - He originally was drawn to me when I was playing my Native American flute. The flute is new to me, and I don't play well, but nonetheless, he liked the vibration! When I would stop, he'd zoom in front of me, as if asking for more. Now I play Native American flute music from my laptop for him. I guess music really is the universal language!
@theloracle With dragonfly's of the same species, I put my hand in front of it and sometimes it will fly up and land either on the very base of my thumb or on my middle finger and push its wings down very far and stay there for a while, I'll try to get a vid and make it a response to your vid. good luck with yor pet dragonfly!
Music is universal language, even other species know it. :)
