  • The reciprocating mass pairs do not share crankpins, so it is not "V" engine, it is a true boxer.

  • just showing a diagram of how it works... boxer engines are different than plain flat engines; boxers are perfectly balanced, for every action on one side there is an equal reaction on the other. This allows the engine to run without heavycouterweights and less vibration, making it more reliable and higher performance; torquey.
