Engine swaps, the 4G64 is a NA engine. The main thing that differs the 4G64 from the 420A is that the intake on the 420A is on the driver side, on the 4G64, like the 4G63, its on the passenger side.

I wouldn't recommend doing the GS since it has a 420A engine, if anything try to buy a 6 bolt 4G63. If you cant afford to then have a turbo with a good tune at 8-10 psi, it should add about 50hp to your ride so it will make it quite a bit faster. You'll run low 14s to high 13s if its done correctly. With supporting mods (cams, ported head, 3" downpipe with exhaust or open down pipe) you could run a mid 13 or a little lower if you get rid of some weight (back seat, ect) on 12 PSI and a tune.

yes on a 2g eclipse only the gs-t and the gs-x have a turbo 4g63 motor. This guy most likely did a 6 bolt non turbo motor swap from a 1g eclipse, because they all had 4g63's from 90-94...
