  • @jsniderhan thank you. Craig

  • who tuned it? and if you havent already black carpet.. will make the interior ten times better

  • @lightstang I am not a fan of black carpet; maintained oem opal grey. It's a smooth contrast to the charcoal/grey dashboard and doors. Dynaspeed Racing in Memphis, TN tuned my car. thanks for viewing Craig

  • those 44's sound beasty,,, that beat in the background is catchy, what is it?

  • @thegreysniper "Realist Spittas" from skrazeybeatz(dot)com

  • @greghicksUS thanks. Craig

  • awesome finished product bro!

  • @ranchoposi thanks for viewing. Craig

  • Very nice car

  • @timscobra93 thanks. Craig

  • Beautful car mister!

  • @trollymagee thanks. Craig

  • i can tell a difrence now, sounds good, to me it sounds as if theres less drone but still has good sound when cruseing

  • @snickel6824 thanks. I like the deeper sound and different tone from the 40's that trademark a mustang's sound. Craig

  • VERY nice car. I don't see too many 5.0 / Kenne Bell projects. I keep hearing how difficult it is to tune. But seeing your project is encouraging. Did you have to stroke it to use the 2.2? Was tuning difficult? I have a '93 5.0 LX Hatchback. I am also in California, so mods are a little more tricky out here.

  • @Whitetailrat I stroked the car before deciding to add the KB; not required. The KB is actually made for a stock 5.0. You can purchase the KB for stock intake or gt40 intake. I was able to take my car to a local shop for tuning. I would encourage a dyno tune for accuracy. I was able to remove the cats and install long tube headers in my city and I love the car's response! thanks, Craig

  • Badass car!

  • @ValeriePuma thank you. Craig

  • Nice! What an awesome ride you have created. Love the subdued appearance. I always wanted a notchback to do something like this :)

  • @331Grabber thanks for the comment. Craig

  • very nice, whats it run on the 8th, 6's?

  • damn brah..looks good. i'm not fan of the cobra wheels on the hatch back but you pull it off on this car. nice ride

  • @2damnkwik thanks. Craig

  • @2damnkwik

Opinions, opinions ... I think the Cobra wheels look really nice on it ...

This video absolutely makes me miss my old Notch. :*(

  • @ThugsRmorons Some like the wheels and others don't. I personally think that it's a different look than what you see on most foxes. I was lucky enough to get my notch in '94 from a guy that only put 6,000 miles on it. They are my favorite design for the fox, even the Cobra 93. Did you sell or wreck your notch? thanks, Craig

  • @419forest I have owned a few (3 notchbacks, 1 LX vert), but the last one I had was an '89 5spd notch that I bought in '04 with only 6K miles on it. I parked it outside one night when I was shuffling cars in my garage, and it got stolen by Columbian drug runners, seriously. Found it three months later, and never felt the same way about the car ... the title and virginity were gone. I built for roadracing and then sold it for other toys.

The one I miss was my old Seattle PD SSP notch.

  • you running it stock height or is it dropped at all? Sweet Ride bro.

  • @RelentlessR6 1,5 front/1.0 rear.thanks Craig

  • Sick Stang bro. You motivate me big time to start up my 90 Lx hatch project!!

  • @franco804 thanks for the compliment. Craig

  • What length did you use on the hood struts?....or do u have a part# I could possibly interchange.

  • @mustanguser1 Check americanmuscle(dot)com. They have them listed by year of car.

  • Very nice ride...got a 91 GT I'm doin myself...306n/a, fr500 wheels n killer stereo...

  • @mustanguser1 thanks. good luck. Craig

  • Very nice ride...got a 91 GT I'm goin thru myself....306 n/a, FR500 wheels n a killer jl audio stereo....look forward to more vids!

  • I mean rotating assembly

  • Hey which 331 stroker kit are u running

  • nice car .... coupe fan

  • @babe8775 thanks.

  • NICE

  • The cam in this bish sounds spot on.... Love this car. I'll trade u for my 2012 gt straight up! lol

  • what head and cam??

  • Amazing coupe man, it looks flawless, and sounds great. I have a 95 SVT Cobra that I am in the process of doing a refresh and restore on, and I just picked up a 93 GT, that I am gonna put my edelbrock rpm headed 347 Stroker in, and want to go with a kenne bell supercharger. That's how I found your video, and once again great job, your car turned out incredible.

  • @mojave252 Thanks for the comment. Sounds like you have a lot of projects on your plate. Good luck. Craig

  • You sir, have one of the best examples of a Fox I have ever seen. Very clean, sounds nice, and rolls out for sure. Great work!

  • @Stang92boy thank you. Craig

  • My friend just got an 88' with a 351W. It needs interior work the most, but that engine was put on a dyno and it posted at 490 hp and 509 tq. It should be amazing when its all done. All 4 of us are trying to get it done. Its fun working on 5.0's.

  • i just got myself an 1982 *Mexican* mustang 5.0 4 speed manual.. loving it man. got it as my 17th birthday gift

  • @jacklental you're on your way...

  • What midpipe do you have? Cats still on or not?

  • @MACH14604 Bassani H-pipe, no cats. long tube Bassani headers. Sound characteristics are predominately driven by cam specs.

  • brake light out....

  • Beautiful! hope both are Keepers! (wifey and the Notch)

  • how much was the paint?

  • @sickassm0f0 typical $3k-$5k

  • My steering wheel has slop, but its not because of rag joints because I have a flaming river steering shaft. the play is all in the steering wheel.

  • By the time my new clutch wearsout I will hopefuly have a 347 stroker in my GT lol. so do you have any slopin your steering wheel?

  • @brimmer555 not at all.

  • Just got my new 5.0 and super fords magazine in the mail today and I saw your car in it. atta boy. congrats!

  • I just got mine last Oct. 5th. Paid $1500 for it and as you know, it's deffinately a project. It runs strong though, but I have to put my King Cobra clutch kit in it soon.

  • @brimmer555 I'd consider a Centerforce for stock feel or a spec 2+ after minor upgrades. good luck. Craig

  • Love the 2.2 super charger. I'm slowly working on my 89 GT. It's a long ways from the way I want it to me lol, but to get back on track, your fox looks and sounds great. take care.

  • @brimmer555 thanks...keep working. It took me 5 years. Craig

  • np...bro

  • im fukn.love notches...i got a 92 notch

  • @joshmarauder Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. Craig

  • Hey man that not a mustang thats a beast a clean sexy beast. And i love it.

  • @EAGR172 thanks. That beast is a lot of fun to drive! Craig

  • Its beautiful man, nice, clean and simple! Very well done!

  • @TuscaniPassion071 thank you. Craig

  • Real nice! Clean and simple on the body.

  • @williamfstackjr thanks. It was important to me that I didn't take it "over the top" in the end. thanks again. Craig

  • Your left break lights out just sayen

  • Noting like blower whine...what compression are you running in the motor? And watching your vids insipire me to finsh my project..

  • @isimmons17 9:1 compression. thanksfor the compliment. Craig

  • loving the cobra rims lol...you just dont see that often

  • @kingnothing1336 thanks. I like to keep it simple. You'll never see a set of 20" wheels on my stang! Craig

  • @kingnothing1336 yea notchback looks awesome with those on it

  • @419forest wow those 44's sound sick!!!

  • @jono2183 thanks. Craig

  • Brotha to Brotha yo man the Stang reminds me of mine yrs ago, it's good to see good taste and smart choices on your built it's tops in my book!...I'm gonna get another one and build that Super Stang...

  • @MicahLeviClark thanks for the high praise. You going with a fox body or modular setup?

  • @419forest I'll have to say 93 Fox or 03-04 Cobra, maybe a Modular Fox.

  • Beautiful car man. I was wondering if you don't mind me asking how much that entire project was, including the blower cam heads paint interior mechanic, the whole 9 yards. I wanna see how much I have to save to get my 90 lx perfect. I'm going to keep the 302 though and put a Keene bell as well. And if you have any thoughts on what parts I should get that would be great too? Thanks man

  • What did you do for your quarter glasses? I have an 80' with 87-93 front bumper. Will be posting video In a couple of days of progress.

  • @Weraider07 Purchased a new set from professional product industries. Be prepared to pay top dollar for a pair of oem quarter side windows though. Send me an email when you post your video. Thanks, Craig

  • she came out real nice. what mid pipe are you running i like its sound. you should check out my 93 lx.

  • @arnielromeo bassani h-pipe, no cats. super 44's the way to go if you want a different sound. thanks, I will check out your ride. Craig

  • hey man nice car! i love the sound! i wish i can have it im only 16 but im saving every penny for this car!!! Question ive been on kenne bell website and i cant find the description for the KB 2.2 i only see the 2 KB 2.1's they have, just a curious question if you knew

  • @0mfgitzBiafor3 I'm curious...why is a 16 year old more interested in the fox body style over the current model? The KB 2.2 was the previous model. KB only makes the 2.1 now. Thanks for viewing and comments. Craig

  • @419forest hey man lol i think the 2005 up look sooo gay. i just think the 5.0 fox bodys are insane and they sound insane when they have proper mods, and at my highschool all the grade 12s with cars are pussies and have ricers and me and a couple of friends are planning to bring back the real muscle! Fuck ricers!

  • Craig thank you for sharing your project with us. I have 1993 Mustang as well that is my college car and I stroked it to a 347, but I know see that i have a long way to go as far the details of a "project". Thank you for inspiring me to get it done. I am going to post the video I have for it now.

  • @competitivejunkie I appreciate your viewership and glad to provide motivation to another fellow mustang owner. Craig

  • very nice car. i have a 93 mustang lx, ive done some work to the engine and exaust but ive mostly done body modifications because i do alot of car shows. i'll try to post a video soon

  • @badass68mustang thanks. Craig

  • They both sound great, i have a 95 with the 40's that sound good, can't wait for the 331, just 9 grand takes time to save up for at 19. the 44's are less common like u said, which i may look into when we get the motor

  • @Michael331Str thanks for the comment. craig

  • @ .37 Guy sounds like a conehead laffin..

  • Very nice, clean, tasteful build. Love the look, stance and of course the performance. Lovin the Cobra rims man!!

    -86 SVO

  • @419forest, after watchin this clip....im definitely gettin the kb setup!!! I have saved ur early clips and i gotta say its come a looong way. Mad props!!!

  • @dcastro0018 thanks for the high praise. Craig

  • SO CLEAN!!! mods are done right and tastefully. this is what a true 5.0 build should look like. Have you contacted 5.0 and super fords, or MMFF about doing an article on your car? you should! I try to keep up on your notch, it gives me motivation for mine! Keep at it, and keep us posted!

  • @fabb0429 Thanks for the compliments. I haven't contacted any magazine. Maybe I'll do so sometime in the near future. Craig

  • Are the mufflers the super 44's? Love them whatever they are. Not too loud not too quiet. Also-do you have catalytic converters or no?

  • @toddh687 Removed cat's and installed Flowmaster Super 44's. Thanks for viewing. Craig

  • tell me why this is the cleanest sounding 5.0..like the beats btw

  • @dcesar7O7 No, no, no...ancient chinese secret. Thanks for the high praise. Beats come from Skrazeybeats(dot) com.

  • Ok, I still think I prefer the 40's. I think they sound a little more raspy which is something most people do not like, but something I love. That's just me though. That's one reason I have a BBK x-pipe on my Cobra. Sounds great either way though.

  • @sniper1334 yes. I understand. thanks for viewing. Craig

  • There's one mod your car needs more than any of the things you put in it so far... tilt steering :( I'm sure you've probably already done that, but it's nice to see a CLEAN fox.. none of that ragtag crap. I used to have a 88GT, but I ran into hard times and was forced to sell it. My new 5.0 is a Thunderbird Sport (5.0 factory equipped) that I'm in the process of building a 351 for. You've got more than enough power to enjoy that ride. Looks like fun on the weekends!

  • @DeltaElite121 No tilt steering, but seat track extensions were used; cheaper and faster mod. I just picked up the car yesterday. I got 75% of it repainted, because there was a drip and few chips in the first painting. Now I am going to ride it today to remember the hard pull of the KB 2.2! Thanks for the comment. Craig

  • From watching the first vids you did and now this one, its amazing how it turned out. One of my fav notches on the tube. im actually getting my 90 notch project goin! Gotta love that Whine!

  • @917Jolly thanks for following my vids. Craig

  • where did u get the grill???

  • @repinda561 Original Ford 93 cobra grill purchased from a guy off corral. You can get one off latemodelrestoration

  • I just got a 72mustang project

  • Have you given any thought to replacing the factory lighting such as turn signals and brake and reverse lights with LED bulbs? You've done a fantastic job with your Fox. I have a 1994 V6 and I really enjoy it even though it is underpowered and overworked. blog (dot) fox50swap (dot) com has a project called Built To Cruise where they are putting the newest 5.0 into a Fox. It's pretty awesome.

  • craig whats happen men? You thought about the fast ford magazine yet? o yeah finally have my 347 finish. Be sending u a video soon. Hold it in the road. lol

  • @MrCt302 Car is currently at the painter getting chips and other small items re-worked. Haven't thought about the magazine yet. I am going to get a few more pics and put another video together this spring; final one. Congrats on getting your engine done. I'll be watching out for it. thanks, Craig

  • Are you satisfied with the Super 44s. Its sounds like beast on the fly by!

  • @LIONOFJUDAH30 my best decision on mufflers yet are the super 44's

  • The one dislike on this video is a Camaro owner.

  • One of the best series of videos on Youtube. Your build was great man... It's honestly an inspiration for my own Mustang.

  • @mckpat03 thanks a lot. do it a little quality building over time, and you'll be happy. What you saw was a four (4) year process. thanks for watching my videos. pass the word on! Crag

  • I love this car! Hope my project can turn out to be as successful as yours did Craig, I've got a lot of work to do...and unfortunately it looks like money to spend on my '89 Notch! But I'm excited!

  • Nice ride... I'm just getting back into the car scene. I'm a Cordova resident. Attended Morehouse.

  • @chapchap99 thanks.

  • B E A utiful stang!!!

  • @915power thanks for the comment. Craig

  • man your wife is cool letting you do that project...my gf tries to make me feel guilty when i upgrade the fries on my value meal...

  • @rmiles01 funny! My wife adhere's to the verbal pre-nup; most importantly, she enjoys seeing me happy with the same car I had when we dated in college.

  • @419forest

plus shes smart- the rebuild is cheaper than a new car and she can hold it over your head- forever..." remember when i let you..." lol. i get my BS of IT in may so then i can finish my 89 coupe...363 dart baby!!!!!!!

  • @rmiles01 The break-even point is getting close. I could have ditched the project and bought a 50K 03 Cobra for about the same price. Can you maintain factory air conditionaing in a 363 cubic inch block?
