@movinon5 Arabians rarely have a nervous nature. They are frisky and spirited more often then not, big difference! Among no other breed I met so many brave ones. They are only nervous when handled the wrong way. Thoroughbreds are often nervous creatures, so are some Spanish and some German jumper breeds (Hannoveraner). Gorgeous, though! :)
Thank you so much! We didn't place that great but at least finished! I think 13th out of 16. Had time faults for going too fast in stadium! And dressage score wasn't good at all. Went really slow in XC but we were really just schooling and wanted to do it well. He'd only schooled XC 2 times before the trial. He's a good boy.
YES, but perhaps this is only true at certain levels. This one was Novice, so I assume it will also be true for Beginner Novice. I'd need to read the rules for the other levels. :)
Nicely done! What a great personality - trail horse to eventer in 1 month...! He looks interested and happy...:) Great jump on him too, and I suspect the slight hollowing and blowing through a couple of distances will totally go away with more training - as indicated by the rest of the round (terrific job!)... quality rider on a quality horse... TallyHo!
Thanks! We figured out the bit was a tad strong for him, so now he's much more relaxed! And we're doing tons of flat work which is strengthening and balancing him out nicely. :)
Way to keep your rein short!! You did great!! U looked perfect together!

The rider actually looks more nervous then the horse which is intresting cause its an Arabian, lol.

I'm not sure! It wasn't me riding- it's a friend of mine. Hmmm, I'll have to look at the original video as it's clearer.
