@Iberidea That is a STUPID comment, South Ossetia was granted independence in the 1990's but Georgia always claimed it to be there territory even though the overwhelming majority of South Ossetians wanted independence. So Georgia indiscriminately bombed South Ossetia killing hundreds of civilians in the process to invade them until Russia stopped the invasion and fought them back to there homes.

Actually the US bombed Serbia for internal political reasons, and that is because they wanted to appear "strong" and "moral"... in other words Clinton didn't get laid against (same thing as in 1993 somalia).
