So I bought this case a couple of weeks ago as a result of this review.

While the comments about typing are fair, I found that if I turn the phone on its left side (which is preferable for typing anyway for me) there is no real problem with hitting the keys.

So all in all, I'm loving this case! Thanks for the video :)

I have the Griffin Elan Passport Metal for the iPod Touch 2nd/3rd Gen and it looks just like this one. The problem I have is that The case covers a bit of the sides of the screen and gaming is difficult. So when gaming or typing, I take it out and slip on a silicone case.

on the iPhone i really don't see the point in leather cases on any iPhone there so well made and i think that it wrecks the iPhone experience and would reccomend a bumper for the iPhone 4 and a case that covers the whole back for an iPhone 3G/3Gs as they scratch so easily

@wacko506 Its a shame that the iPad Griffin Wallet has absolutely NO pocket which kinda defeats the purpose in naming it a 'wallet'? I would of loved if they included some sort of pouch or summit to carry documents.

Griffin make some really nice cases/products, I have the Griffin Reveal Etch (Graphite), its very good, I really want the Elan Form Graphite case, but not out here in the UK as of yet.

@AppScreencast Apple stores don't carry the Griffin range for some reason... the o2 store and Carphone Warehouse have loads of Griffin accessories/cases. Worth taking a look

Hi, I had thebexact same case with the exact same problem. Take it to a key cutting shop slash shoe shop ideally you want the shoe bit haha and ask they to stick and trim the bottom piece. Remember that is holding the phone inside sodomy cut an incredible amount of. All I did was drew in a wax crayon what I wanted to be cut and he did it. It was free but I know you don't live down here but i'm sure what he meant what it wasn't really anything worth charging for but even if they ask you pay it w

Great review as always and I think you are saving some of your subs some cash.I did a websearch of this product cause like U I think it looks fantastic but....A sample of reviews from customers(BB,Amazon and others agree w/ U.I guess thats why U can get this case for $20 on E-Bay now.

@bvsveera they're both TOTALLY diffetent products. I wouldn't use the Defender in every day usage and you'll see in the upcoming review why.

I can't believe some of the comments on here about iglaswegians accent!! It's frightening that people think 1) he sounds Irish and 2) Jamaican!!!!! I'm from Edinburgh and he has a Glaswegian accent, hence the name! I like the idea of the product but the space bar issue would really annoy me too. Are there other similar wallet cases available?

Mate that does look like a cool case, but how annoying that the case overlaps the keys. Hopefully griffin will take your comments on board. How much was it? I have a griffin case for my iphone4 and I'm pleased with it, but it's open faced and I'd like some kind of sleeve or wallet for it.
