How to use the Palomino KUM Long Point Sharpener

I have one of these and on stage 2 it constantly breaks the point of almost every pencil I put in there. I no longer use it. Instead I use a Derwent 3 hole sharpener which has a long point sharpener as one of its three options - longer than this KUM, and doesn't break any points.

Will this sharpner work ok with the pencil Ticonderoga?

@Spikced As long as it is as thin as normal pencils you usually find in stores, it should work fine. I have one of these and I absolutely love it.

I have one of these and love it. I have one suggestion on improving it though: Add more room for shavings.
