@secretlystr sometimes I couldn't motivate myself to beat the game. I got pretty close in RCT 1 (which is why I was able to get pictures from the later parks).

i always get bankrupted on 1 and 2. that's y i like RCT3 Sand Lot Mode because you get a big park, no trees in the way, and unlimitted money!! maybe if they did a remake for 1 and 2, they should have a huge park and unlimitted money. and no trees. damn trees always get in the way. =P

One of the few tycoons that I like and play from time to time having lots of fun. And the graphics are so nice. Some people prefer 3D, but for me 2D here is the real thing. btw I didn't know there is an exp.pack for RCT1. Thanks a lot for this. :)

You're welcome! I don't have RCT 3, but I like the look of RCT 1 and 2. I haven't played this game lately because I don't have it installed on my new computer. The expansion packs by the way are called Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes.

Yes, the wooden roller coasters run together. I haven't played in a while, but theres a tab you click on the ride information, and theres a box with words next to it that says: "Sychronize with adjacent station." Click that box so there is a check mark, and the two stations next to each other should start at the same time.

Man, did I ever hate the water slide at 0:48! Whenever there was a "safety cut-out," all the boats backed up at the bottom of the second lift hill, forcing a closing and reopening of the ride!

Truthfully, RCT3 is better, but it takes a LOT more practice. Actually, it's not much fun if you don't make movies. RCT1 is good for building things for yourself, and RCT3 is good for movies. I've made quite a few myself, actually =)

I still play RCT1 a lot. Thanks for the memories of the game without the expansions. I have it with both of them =D

It was a miracle...I found a way to make Corkscrew Follies work. So now I am going to try the same that with Loopy Landscapes as well. However, it will be a LONG while before a slideshow is made for Corkscrew Follies.

Someone does have a slideshow of corkscrew follies ( xxxVJ300xxx ) and its pretty good despite that it only has 15 of the scenarios.

I think i've seen. But, just try to beat them. It took me around 2 months. It's not hard, just annoying how you have to wait till the end of year 3. Just keep using campaigns. And while you wait, Read a book, or watch a movie. But make sure to check your parks. Thats what i did. Until i got down to giggle downs. Then i just cheated my ass off. But anyways yeah.

I think that's true, but I don't know for sure. I thought that it was only if you won every objective for all the parks in the expansion packs, but, again, I don't know because I have never accomplished that.

However, I unfortunately lost all the parks that I unlocked on RCT 1 (but I think I saved them somewhere). So I might have to start over.

My Loopy Landscapes CD broke before I could get screen shots of all parks for Corkscrew Folies, and my slide show wont upload so Ill have to try some other way to get it on here. If you have all expansion packs for RCT1, like CF, and LL, then you can run the game in compatibility mode and it should work.

Most parks in RCT 1 were great, but I think Corkscrew Follies had the best parks and challanges. Once I unlock every park for Corkscrew Follies, im makeing a slide show of every park in that.
