The sound of the screaming lambs haunts her as an adult, but she no longer "hears" the lambs after she helps to solve this case.

i watched red dragon first and then this.Red dragon seemed more scary.The villain was harder to kill.For me both movies are great and modern classics but the dragon seems to have better atmosphere(my opinion ofc).And Buffalo Bill vs Tooth fairy (tooth fairy >Red dragon,B.Bill, nickname seem so grimm) , Tooth will kick his ass :D

@Boolglunk He saw Clarice as a new means of escape. This is why he gave her the address to his garage where she found the head. If he gave her something, she would trust him. But in the process got to know her-whether he saw her as a new patient or a new pupil, it satisfied him. She fulfilled both his means of escape and his lust for torment. Which is also why he doesnt come after her. He has no need too. He 'knows' her now and this knowledge is his power over her (hence the saying).
