  • Shhit, I could hit that target with my 10/22 iron sight.. Show some LR videos please

  • are those handload subs or factory ammo?

  • ah gotta take that call! fuck i hate cell phones

  • Decent video,

  • The first guy had a really bad prone position. Even sitting down they didnt have good form. Shooting one of the most accurate rifles in the world and the A2 model has an effective range of about 1200m. A really good shot could go to a good 1500 or more. They had a wide grouping for only 100yds.

For those of you crying over the light on the rifle and how its stupid have obviously never seen a real one in action. These light are designed for long range lighting up target at 300+ yards.

  • where can i buy one of these just like this one but without the light

  • nice wikipedia description...

  • It should be noted that in urban situations, especially SWAT, snipers don't necessarily shoot from distance like you would in a test or in the military.

Lots of times they have to set up closer and are used for intel and accurate shooting, however not over the long distances which require the powerful optics.

  • so civilialns are alowed to buy this gun? whats the price on one of these bad boys. just the gun not all the extra accesories?

  • @MrBobsrevenge you can't buy it because it is hand built by the military armorers but you can buy a clone which can match its accuracy and looks for about 3 to 5 thousand

  • @iceman27406 whats the clone called and wehre can you get. thanks.

  • @MrBobsrevenge I found one at gaprecision. net/ it is called the Crusader and will cost you around $3725.00 if you do go that way you might as well get it in .338 Lapua Mag.

  • @iceman27406 yea i wanted the remington 700 mlr in 338 but they stoped selling it and i dont like used guns.

  • @MrBobsrevenge You can, it's basically a Remington 700, but they hand make custom parts and ammo for the M24 and even sort out the metal used in the casings, apparently.

But, for the average shooter, even the above average shooter, the 700 would be perfectly fine.

  • so civilialns are alowed to buy this gun? whats the price on one of these bad boys.

  • Czekamy na odpowiedz Świebodzina

  • Square up to the rifle and stop raising your damn head! Why would you buy an overpriced remington M24 if your follow through technique couldn't out shout a 700 sps. Not to mention that feeding it some cheap ass factory ammo completely negates any accuracy advantage gained from the super expensive gun. Oh, and sweet idea with the torch, that will surely cut the time required for counter snipers to find you. Put an HD camera on the other side so we can get a first person view of a Hathcock shot.

  • @charronl1 Totaly agree. If you are a just an weapons enthusiast, and you don't need to go out and shoot people from one and a half miles, get some cheaper gun. If you do have the skill, but dont want to waste bucketloads of money on proper rounds, same thing.

  • MUDSHOVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why the fuck would you put a torch on a sniper rifle?!?!

  • @PetrolDemon i believe that torch is an infrared light to illuminate a target for the night vision optics

  • @remington700man oh okay that makes sense then :)

  • @PetrolDemon so that the enemy can spot you more easy ;D

  • @PetrolDemon I dont know why you would on this rifle, but on night varmint we use torches to see there eyes.

  • @PetrolDemon when you miss and the enemy looks at you, you can flash that little light at them to indicate your position. or its just gay. yeah, its probably just gay.

  • @PetrolDemon IR illumination...

  • Just get a Remington 700 Sendero. Unless you shoot several times a week and are in good physical shape, you most likely will be unable to shoot up to the rifle.

  • I love it when guys bolt a ton of crap onto a rifle . the AR's are really great for quad railing the shit out a weapon. makes me laugh. I wonder how much stuff you can hang on barrett 50 start with a vertical foregrip ha ha

  • @cl60cruzer Everything on the rifle severs an important purpose.

  • Do you have this video with out the crappy music?

  • M24 > M110. Instead of field the M110 as the new Sniper rifle standard of the Army they should go with M14.

  • Yah a Barrett .50cal is nice until you realize that it ways 20 pounds unloaded and you have to carry it an ammo and other supplies many miles. This gun is an all around great gun for most types of sniping ur just not gona shoot a rag head at a mile but everything under is dead

  • @hamsterhamz

    witch Barrett .50cal? lol

  • Cool video.

  • would you rather carry this or the sr25?

  • @epicfail19 i'd rather have the M24a2.

  • thats cool. in cqc, i would take the sr25 and in longer range i would choose m24

  • hopefully you'd have a better weapon for CQC

  • @epicfail19 aks74u all the way

  • Dale Gribbel?

  • Most Rifle/Sniper forums on the net WILL have a thread on the current spec of the US M24A2. Which is an R700 with a strict list of modifications and accessories.

  • Truly a sniper rifle but it still got that hunting rifle look with out the silencer.

  • I loved this Rifle when I carried it in my Scout/Recon Platoon. The M24 was accurate as all hell.

  • they shouldve added a pistol grip like the Mcmillan A2, A3, A4, and A5 stock

  • 308?

  • yeah, also known as 7.62x51 in metric

  • why is kim jong learning to snipe

  • i like how the description is ripped out of the wikipedia definition of sniper rifle.

  • sniper rifle with a silencer? a match made to send you to hell

  • nice...........

  • Bad fuckin' ass rifle mixed with a bad fuckin' ass song. 5 stars!

  • I hope the M24 with 338 Lapua variant comes into the battlefield soon. I hope USMC gets interested into the project.

  • other rifles are in testing at the moment. We probably will not be taking up the M24 variant for 338.

  • wow Think the Weapons are Advanced Through this years Before the Longest a weapon could shoot was maybe 700-600 meters now u could be hit by a weapon like 2,5 km away...

  • Which rifle is better, the Springfield Armory M1A or the Remington 700?

  • both firearms have there advantages and disadvantages but i would personally go with the 700

  • rem 700 is better

  • Accuracy is spelled, "Remington 700." There is no other rifle that even comes close.

  • 50 cal are most dangerous for very long distances.

tac 50 , or barett . Have more kinetic power than rem 700. and rem 700 is good for 800 - 900m.

barret or tac for about 2 km.

  • depends on what your aiming at, for vehicles the barrett m82 is the best, but for personell, the cheytac intervention rifle is the best

  • Are you fucked in the head.

  • i'd love one of these but i dont even think your allowed one in the uk even after you've got all the paper work out the way and licenses and stuff.

you'd probably have to be a fire arms officer for 70 years ten you'd be allowed one. =(

  • i want to see if i can get a surpluss m24 once they start replacing them with sr-25's

  • I heard the Army is more interested in semi automatic sharpshooting rifles.

Always trust the US army to place quantity over quality.

    Im joining the Marines!

  • Correction. If you may. Any weapon is a sniper weapon of use, if known accuracy is perfected. A true marksmen uses no special weapon. Only a weapon that may cause a lethal accuracy and or potential of efficiency. A rifle or any firearm is only a tool. The sniper himself is the key to lethal and punishing effects.

  • Sorry, but you're not snipin' shit from 1500 metres away with a 9mm.

  • yea... the dirt... :)

  • the bolt pull length is too long

  • He should use sub-sonic ammunition if he wants nothing but the firing pin to be heard, it would give up some range though.

    I WANT ONE!!!

  • is this guy shooting down hill or something?

  • what's the point in having a light on a sniper? A sniper is used on long distances, and I doubt that a little tactical light have that range.

  • hahahaha what a fool. good luck pal

i think it might be to give away his hideout

i bet he thinks that it looks cool

  • Infer red for night vision perhaps?

  • you are a fucking idiot that was a stream light.. dumb fuck and if you have ever seen or used one they are very bright so you can use it on a sniper... i have a steam light just like it and you can see good with it at 100 yards easy

  • @olekr for when you are moving through a house and you dont want to be bumping stuff. you would most likley have your pistol out but oh well.

  • do you need a special license to buy/use a sniper rifle, aside from a regular gun license?? My dad goes to the range, but ive never been interested in handguns or automatic rifles. On that note, what would be a good sniper rifle for a beginer to try?

  • No, this is still America, get it while you can though...

  • Not for the next month or two. Obama and Holder are planning right now to ban all semi automatic rifles. Just google for the list.

The M24 shown here is a Remington 700 and can be picked up new for less than $500

  • oh? Thats not too bad. Is that a pretty good starter rifle?

  • Depends on how much you want to shoot. .223 can be pretty expensive .22 is a lot cheaper. For under $600 you can't beat the 700 though. Weatherby vangards are also $399 right now. The best bolt action for the price is the Winchester model 70 but its a little more.

I wouldn't by a bolt action unless I owned a semi auto .223. Its the best weapon to defend yourself with when they come to take you to FEMA camp and its going to be illegal very soon. I'd by an AR or a mini while you still can.

  • no they're not, then what would hunters use? that would be pointless.

  • Uh yeah they are. You have a psychotic disorder. It's patently obvious that what you are saying is wrong. Just do a search for: "Obamas Gun Ban List Is Out "

You think Obama and Holder give a fuck about hunters? Everything they do, every breath they take, every thought they have ever had has been motivated by one singular thought: The total enslavement of the entire human race.

  • you should not need any special license to buy one. it all depends what you want to do with it, but if you are looking to just shoot paper targets or steel, and depending on how far. you can get a remington 700 heavy barrel in 223 cal for a good price, and it if fairly cheap to shoot. put a decent scope on it. i would look to buy used just starting out. good luck

  • 1st of all you dont need a gun license to buy a gun if you buy it from a dealer.. and sniper rifle is over used its a regular rifle with mods. on it...... go buy a remington700 put a long dist. scope, and a custom stock and pro trigger and you have a "sniper"

  • Depends on where you are, in MA good luck getting a license. In NH you don't even need one unless you want to CCW.

  • I shot a M700 today, if the M24A2 is as good as they say it is, I'd lop off my left nut to have one.

  • I like mine, keep that cheek weld between shots,no need to jump your head, bad follow through, you can fast cycle without turning your head into a basketball

  • That is not long range.... How far were you shooting?

  • i think it's 70-80yards

  • whats the point in that flashlight?

  • It's infrared and can only be picked up by US night Vision, its mainly tocomunicate

  • whats the song?

  • Band name Staind, song title Mud Shovel.

  • thx

  • NICE...

  • is it possible to get a version of this in the civilian model cause i know their is a rifle call 700 USR but it looks exactly the same what is different between the m24a2 and the 700 USR anybody know?

  • well i know the difference between m40 styles(us marine) and remington 700 is the barrel and some internal upgrades, aswell as the stock. probably similar modifications for police m24

  • The USR is actually a 'kit' built of an LTR (Light Tactical Rifle) It is just and LTR with an adjustable HS stock, MARS rail, HS DBM and a threaded barrel + brake. So the only real difference between it and the M24A2 is the barrel length. The M24's are also made of some different, more rugged metals/alloys.

  • the second fat guy might be a good shot but its kinda funny that he goes for a shot with the bolt still up lol. dont worry , only the whole world saw you do it . ha!

    lifes hard get a helmet!
