for x-mas i got him for 50$ at walmart YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
You know 2 hours isn't that bad for building a display piece. Especially when you compare that to some of the starwars Lego sets such as the death star II which took me about a day to build with 3300 pieces.
i think its the best set cause its the only one which does not look like the cartoon version bumble bee looks totaly like the cartoon sooo im totaly going with optimus how much does it cost?
It's funny you go into the point about build time and kids not wanting to spend that long on it. I was a Lego fanatic as a kid, and definitely read the instructions, took time out to build it all, and keep it displayed as well as play with it (and usually break it so I could build it again). To me, building was half the fun. That said, my brother and cousin would use no instructions and build about 10-15 tiny little planes or cars that took almost no time to build. Lego fans will love these. :)
You can't imagine 8-14 year olds wanting to spend hours building and then going to play? Well you did mention that you didn't really legos when you were younger.....shit was my life...
@feddy66 Ha. Well, I know I didn't have the patience to look at instructions and build for 2-3 hours....then go play with what I had built. Some kids do I guess, ha! However, with that said, this really is almost like a model...doesn't feel like a toy at all. So in that sense, I'm not sure they will want to.
@MatrixPrime That's actually really cool though. I mean I guess building stuff has always sort-of been my thing. I still have lego robots that I built when I was like 7, and I'm 20 now, and I went from building huge complex things with legos (that i played with cus if they broke, I could just rebuild them) to now I build Gundam Model kits, I wish they had had sort of an in between thing like that when I was young. It was kinda a huge leap haha.
