Loved Lou Reed - the guy is a living legend. I was stunned to get Walk on the Wild Side, I'm Waiting for the Man, Sweet Jane, Dirty Blvd, and Waves of Fear in the same set.
Made the Killers seem desperate to be loved and trying too hard by comparison. And I like the Killers.
Lou is probably my all time favorite performer, but I really didn't think he did that good at Lollapalooza. It seemed like the more excited I was to see a certain artist, the more I was disappointed.
Not all of the current stuff is tastleess shit. You just have to look for it (hint UK women I list a few on my channel). This generation has all the tools they should be better then we were.

I'm just glad I was able to see Lou, no matter how bad or good the show was, there might not be many chances to see him, who knows.

I missed out on Lou Reed because of some other artists I was watching all the way at the other end of the park.
It's a bummer I didn't get to see him, but by the time I navigated through the crowd, I would have missed half the set.
Looked awesome.
