This isn't Jonny Greenwood's model. Jonny has 2 models of Telecasters; he has a Fender Telecaster Standard, which has been customized to have a killswitch (button) and Lace Sensor pickups (dually red in bridge, blue in neck). And the other is a Fender Telecaster Plus (which he made the Standard try to be, since all the Telecaster Plus' were designed with those exact specs).

This kid's model however is a Fender Telecaster Highway One.

Literally kills the note. The killswitch stops all sounds when it is pressed (if it's a button-killswitch, like Jonny's). Like the beginning of the Paranoid Android solo is Jonny fucking around with the killswitch. Another song that famously uses the killswitch, is the beginning of Rage Against the Machine's "Know Your Enemy" and the solo to "Bulls on Parade".
