blackwell was my best friend while we was at ft. carson together. i'm from tennessee as well. i left in dec 04 and i really miss him. i named my youngest son after him kim.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. The outpouring of support from the town was amazing. I hope your son knows the man he is named after is a hero.

That was the day my little girl had to say good bye to her daddy forever. We were completely honored to have such wonderful people such as these to ride in the prossesion and add their support. Thank you very much you guys. Thank you.

I am a member of the Colorado Patriot Guard Riders and an active duty soldier stationed at Ft Carson. This soldier memorial was held on Ft Carson and I was honored to be one the riders to stand on the flag line in his honor. Rest in peace, my brother.

@chechnya most all of em do :). the ones that wont. , myself and the rest of hte PGR. are there. to protect the families from. i cant serve over there, but ill serve em here.
