hi, the wood came from a book shelf some one threw out and the mesh has travelled with him for about 20 years. he can't remember where it came from originally!!! but we think it's the stuff they used to put over larder windows to stop flies getting in. we have a good supply of wood for reclaimation owing to his job at a local recycling company in a very well heeled village, but we're not adverse to skip diving! hope that helps! good luck!!!
Wow!!! Great photos, equally fine soundtrack. Giles certainly appears to know his way around all of those "manly-man" tools. I'm enormously impressed. And he also seemed quite patient with all construction efforts being "supervised" by the ever-present & immensely curious kitty. Honorable mention goes out to the peacefully snoozing doggie -- that's what I call a thoroughly brilliant stress management routine. Also, LOVED the James Bond-style pose at the end with the power drill. :-)
can't do a thing in my house without either a feline audience or a dog under your feet! giles can mcgyver anything. lol. he collects all sorts of strange bits and pieces then one day all the parts of his plan come together and there's a new shed in the garden or the greenhouse has a passive solar heating system for the winter. genius! very good sense of humour too for when the plan doesn't quite work! would i want him any other way? absolutely not!
good job
