Absolutely fantastic and timeless piece of film. Beautiful! Thanks for posting. Isn't that Montmartre at the end. I parked in the same place in my old DB4 20 yrs ago... Wasn't quite as rapid as the 275 GTB here though! Amazing!!

In reality it's a Mercedes 450SEL 6,9 Lelouch has claimed so himself. That Mercedes was a true beast with a huge 6,9 litre V8 with around 330hp and loads of torque. Fact is it could probably outrun a Ferrari 275GTB

286 hp, 700NM, 3-speed-automatic transmission...though his was AMG-tuned...375HP and 770NM...

...but the sound is dubbed from a Ferrari 275 GTB...as the director says in his making of...

i remember seeing this in my early teens as a short before the main feature at the cinema in dublin -i presumed it was a motorbike-thanks for posting-just watched jeremy clarkson with his similar car called green grocer--on top gear website under old giffers if you interested
