quick question: how much disk space btrfs snapper needs for the snapshots?....I am running multiple OS's on a single machine and the linux partition is not very big.
is very helpful to know before creating snapshots on a small linux partition (10Gb)
@MultiMateo89 If you make a snapshot, the snapshot will take almost no storage space since it only points to all the original files. Once you modify one of the files though, btrfs will copy that file so there will be two copies of the file (one original, one modified) .. so it doesn't really take up any space unless you modify a lot of files
If you have multiple OS in subvolumes, you probably WILL NOT see any space savings.
@TheLinuxFoundation - there is really NO "time limitations on youtube", you should google and will easily find out how to upload hours long videos.
