The 09 Eclipse GT looks awesome. I'm also starting to notice that some newer cars are doing the black grille, such as the Nissan GT-R, 08 Lancer EVO, 09 Eclipse and the new Kia Soul. I guess it's a new trend for cars trying to make their front end look like a dog's nose....
They aint playin around... actually you know though... if the pipes aren't "True Duals" like that of a mustang or G8 then getting 2 hp from that set up is somewhat impressive... but if its a true dual set up as opposed to just a single pipe then that is very sad

i have a first gen looks alright untill you get the ass view. love how the 2g looks and the riding in the 4g was great but i would take a 350z over a 4g
the newer 4g eclipse may have more hp but there body style and interior lay out sucks compared to the 3g models! there allright but the whole 350z body style is getting old!
i prefer the older much more aggressive looking eclipses.. still, my friend ones one, and he says although he loves it to death, he wishes he spent his money else where - its incredibly flawed.
the 2g and forward are all rice shit. They just kept slapping on the same specs but adding hundreds of pounds to that. Most 1g turbos would smoke the 2g+ turbos, non modified. Best in my mind is 1990 lasr which is virtually same thing as eclipse but without the POS rearwing or backlights

Eclipses hit 60 in the mid to high 6 seconds. And they cost $29,000, almost $30k. You can get a cheaper and faster Nissan Altima, Mazdaspeed 3, Caliber SRT-4, etc. Or you can spend $3,000 more and get the EVO X. I think Eclipses have always been overpriced and they really aren't that fast.

DSM is Diamond Star Motors, in the early to mid 90's Chrysler and Mitsubishi got together and had a few cars traded between the two, 3000gt and the Stealth same thing different badge, along with the Eagle Talon and Eclipse, those cars. Basically it was a way for Chrysler to keep their head above water by joining forces with the Japanese so they didn't have the strong competition any more and they got to trade some electronics information, big business crap like that.
Actually this is the bumper that was on the Eclipse Prototype way before the GT-R was ever announced. Just to let you know Nissan took it from mitsu not the other way around.

Nissan didn't release photos of the GT-R until last year! The Eclipse hasd been out forn 3 years and the Proto pics were around for a year before that.Also testing has nothing to do with the final design because they don't design the car until chassis and engine testing is done. i have a first gen looks alright untill you get the ass view. love how the 2g looks and the riding in the 4g was great but i would take a 350z over a 4g

the newer 4g eclipse may have more hp but there body style and interior lay out sucks compared to the 3g models! there allright but the whole 350z body style is getting old!

i prefer the older much more aggressive looking eclipses.. still, my friend ones one, and he says although he loves it to death, he wishes he spent his money else where - its incredibly flawed.

the 2g and forward are all rice shit. They just kept slapping on the same specs but adding hundreds of pounds to that. Most 1g turbos would smoke the 2g+ turbos, non modified. Best in my mind is 1990 lasr which is virtually same thing as eclipse but without the POS rearwing or backlights

because that's now what it is... a stock eclipse gs is about 20k while an evo stock gsr is about 32k.. and if you get the mr trim it runs about 37k.. and the evo's are only about 30hp more than the GT eclipse

Eclipse GT Spyder: 0-60 in over 6 seconds and 1/4 mile in high 14s.
The Eclipse GT Spyder is $30k. Doesn't matter if there is a 30 hp difference, it's still slow and not worth $30k.

Eclipses hit 60 in the mid to high 6 seconds. And they cost $29,000, almost $30k. You can get a cheaper and faster Nissan Altima, Mazdaspeed 3, Caliber SRT-4, etc. Or you can spend $3,000 more and get the EVO X. I think Eclipses have always been overpriced and they really aren't that fast.

DSM is Diamond Star Motors, in the early to mid 90's Chrysler and Mitsubishi got together and had a few cars traded between the two, 3000gt and the Stealth same thing different badge, along with the Eagle Talon and Eclipse, those cars. Basically it was a way for Chrysler to keep their head above water by joining forces with the Japanese so they didn't have the strong competition any more and they got to trade some electronics information, big business crap like that.

Actually this is the bumper that was on the Eclipse Prototype way before the GT-R was ever announced. Just to let you know Nissan took it from mitsu not the other way around.

well seeing as though the Protoype was made 4 years ago which was WAY before a GT-R was ever shown or announced to the public. Go look up Eclipse Prototype. The very 1st photos of the GT-R showed up about 1 1/2 years ago. You know most people who try to be smart asses are usually stupid. Nice Try though. Nissan didn't release photos of the GT-R until last year! The Eclipse hasd been out forn 3 years and the Proto pics were around for a year before that.Also testing has nothing to do with the final design because they don't design the car until chassis and engine testing is done. That's whty they use whats called a test mule. Also you called me CHUMP, shows how unintelligent you are that you just regurgitate my words back at me. Hop off of my balls and be creative. Stupid!
