Somebody needs to organize a Beatles club of us fans and I don't mean me but someone who loves them as much as I do and with the time and effort to make a club. They need an deserve it soooooooooooooooooo much! We need to preserve their performances and archive them. They were awesome and one of a kind!!!! True groundbreakers!!!!!!!!!!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzOMG, I miss them!
Beatles August 1966 Tour 12: International Amphitheatre - Chicago 13: Olympia Stadium - Detroit 14 Municipal Stadium - Cleveland 15: D.C. I can understand what that noise was for! They were and ARE the best thing ever to happen! I think I make that amount of cheering listening to them on the CD :-D <3
ok now i love the beatles but they just weren't that great of a live band. people were always screaming so they couldn't hear the music and the beatles couldn't even hear themselves playing. also their stage banter didn't seem that good here
@kraken589 They were a very good live band in the earlier part of their career..The trouble is in those days they didnt have the same fantastic PA systems with guys sitting at a mixing desk getting perfect sound back then..What your hearing here is the live stage mix..The people way out front were hearing vocals put through the same standard PA they used for baseball games..Very tinny sounding..If you heard them playing through a modern day sound system with engineer you would know what I mean
I Love this song, Thanks for Posting. We play all these great classics and more at

I don't know how they pulled off all of these harmonies live with the sheer din of a jet sound of screams - the Beatles will always be amazing -

I really wish this would be released on DVD or something. I know they didn't play long but I'd still buy it in a heart beat

If you watch the video of the song "Twist and Shout" that night, you can see police men covering their ears because of the unbearable noise...

...also the Beatles could barely hear themselves sing with all the screaming so how do you expect them to stay in perfect tune with all that going on
smasherhits 10 months ago
@smasherhits
actually, this the reason why they stopped playing live concerts.... they were unable to hear anything because of screaming audiences
