I saw a Bell Public Phone sign mounted up high in a couple of pan shots. You should get yourself a triple-slot payphone to go w/ it. Think that would've been a common sight at a 50's diner.

Guess what?
I do have a triple-slot payphone hanging on my kitchen wall.
It's a reproduction that connects to my regular phone line.
It doesn't use any coins of course. And the numbers where you put your finger to dial are all push buttons.
It works great.
Thanks,
Terry

That's absolute genius. Certainly more fun than your average dining area I'd say.
