How can you possibly say Liam sounded good? He was terrible. Its really frustrating because we have all heard him sounding amazing. He just doesnt bother. Is it contempt for his fans? Or is he clueless to the fact? Why doesnt Noel tell him to wise up? we all know he can do it, but he doesnt bother. He totally embarressed himself on TV. It's hard to say it because I am an Oasis fan and Liam fan. He still looks cool though.

I agree. Oasis are my favourite band, but I don't get it when fans say he sounds good. It's almost like they're forcing themselves to believe that he still sounds great. He sounds well below his best. Frustrating. His voice deteriorates more and more as the tour progresses. Imagine how shit he's going to sound at Wembley next year. I can't understand how Noel has never pulled him aside & said "why can't you finish the words & stop pulling away from the mic? Just do it. It sounds better. Simple."

I think you are onto somethin. The thing with his voice (and somethin he rarely gets credit for) is that he is very rarely out of key. But why does he pull away from the mic? Its not like it sounds as tho he can't finish the line. It jus sounds shit when he does it. Liam seems scared to actually sing rather than sing like he thinks he should sound. He hasn't lost his voice. When he recorded DM/MG he was still a boy... and because of puberty his voice became deeper and it became harder and harder for him to reach those notes... noel just needs to change the key in order for liam to be able to sing them better rather than shout to hit the notes.
