  • ***** Super cool *****

  • Propaganda

  • "Strongest employee being targetted" That sounds like a Alinsky tactic of isolate and destroy the leaders.

  • Try that union intimidation shit in Tx and see what happens.

  • more anti-union propaganda.

NRTW won't be happy until all people have to work 80 hours a week to raise their family.

Don't be fooled, unions are as American as apple pie, thank God. In this economy more than ever, workers need to organize.

  • Thank God I live in the Northeast. If you don't join our Union, you don't work. You will be allowed to stand outside the fence and watch me prosper. And since I'm such a nice, contented hard-working Christian, I won't even charge you to watch. ( Notice the map of all the "Right to work "states. Aren't they the states with the lowest wage scales and lowest Per capitia income ?) Keep smokin your "Meth" and hallucinate your way to prosperity !!!!!

  • PBS =

    Propaganda for

    Blacks and

    Semites

  • Not PBS, Just corporate propaganda B.S..Why would someone not join a union? that's like asking an attorney to not represent you in court.

  • Joining or not joining a union should be a PERSONAL choice. If I don't want to join a union, even if all of my coworkers are in it, then I shouldn't have to join it in order to work.

Forced membership into "clubs" is UNAMERICAN, because it inhibits PERSONAL CHOICE.

  • @dkrustyklown Let me get this right. You think it's okay to get the benefits that belonging to a Union bring, but, none of the resposibility that goes along with joining? LOL

  • Yes, you communist piece of shit. The idea that someone should be FORCED to join a PRIVATE club in order to WORK is not only sickeningly wrong, but it is also UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Employment terms should be between the INDIVIDUAL worker and the EMPLOYER. A third party such as a union should not have ability or right to step into this relationship without the consent of BOTH parties.

If you don't agree with me, then you are a COMMUNIST, and as such you deserve to be executed.

  • @dkrustyklown "If you don't agree with me, then you are a COMMUNIST, and as such you deserve to be executed."

    ROTFLMAO

FYI-anything to do with Communism is explicitly forbidden in our International Constitution.

Also - in order to not come across as such a simpleton, you really should read what the Supreme Court had to say on Unions and the Constitution!

  • @dkrustyklown I agree with you. People's natural freedom take precedence over economics or security.

  • @dkrustyklown : The union shop are ruled "Constitutional" in 1960. A union is the workers, because it takes a majority of workers to form a union.

You should read the National Labor Relations Act; its been the law of the land since 1935; and also was ruled Constitutional in 1937 by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The National Right To Work Foundation is a business front group.

  • @solidarity4

Why should a majority of workers be allowed to force their will upon the minority?

You are a communist and are thus unworthy of life.

  • @dkrustyklown : Because majority rules in America. The same way when you vote for your mayor or other public officials.

  • @solidarity4

Majority does not rule in private establishments. A private business is not run by majority rules, nitwit. You even allude to the argument against you in your own statement. "PUBLIC OFFICIALS": guess what? A private business is not run by "public officials". Once again, you espouse communistic ideas. Go die, communist.

  • @dkrustyklown : Again, you should turn off Fox News and visit a library instead; in particular, a law library.

The National Labor Relations Act covers workers in the private sector; its been the law of the land since 1935. The majority of the workers voting present, rule.

Its the same concept when you vote vote any public official--majority rules. That's called democracy.

  • @solidarity4

It is unjust to allow workers to take control of a private business. A private business should belong only to those that own it. If the workers don't like it, then the workers should find other jobs. You are basically arguing that business owners can be deprived of their property just because a group of workers wishes it so. Fuck that, and fuck you.

  • Pay those nurses less, If they dont want a union, the company will love it and support it . After all there backing it. Than when the union is gone they can get rid of those nurses with cheap h1visa workers. Making the company even moe money. Keep fooling these simple people.

  • More republican backed B.S. !! wake up American Workers, You want to be sodomized by Cheney and company? These asswipes are weak losers. Start loving yourself again. Your Family will respect you for not letting them starve

  • Your screen name is appropriate "jaghoff". Your opinion is ignorant and just plain stupid. Looks like NRTW just wants to protect 1st amendment rights for individual workers.

  • @roleg2007 NRTW wants to protect the 1st Ammendment?! LMFAO

Then please explain why they censor comments on so many of their vids. (comments must be approved before being published-surprisingly not on this one)

  • The 1st Amendment does not apply on a privately owned forum, jackass.

Unless you have a law degree, STFU.

  • LMFAO My opinion is censored yet you have the ability to spout out expletives.

    Too effen' funny!

Sorry, but, your fascist ideas of how the world should be run died with Hitler.

  • u r a jew

  • unions don't work today. get rid of them.

  • @rextony22 : As long as their are still bosses, workers will need unions.

Should we also get rid of the Chamber of Commerence, Manufacturers Association and the National Federation of Independent Businesses? Those are the bosses unions.

  • @solidarity4

Do those organizations FORCE anyone to join them? No? Oh well, then that makes your comparison completely invalid.

  • @dkrustyklown : A union security clause (e.g. union shop), is a "condition" of employment, the same as a requirement to wear safety glasses on the job.

You are aware of that before you take the job. If you don't like any terms or conditions of employment, then you don't take the job.

In closing, the Supreme Court in 1963 ruled that no worker can be required to be a member of a union.

  • @solidarity4

What if the owners of a company don't want to deal with a union? Why should they be forced to negotiate with a union if they do not wish to do so? Freedom of association requires the freedom from association. A company that does not wish to do business with a union should have every right to ignore it. Workers can attempt to form unions all they want, but under no circumstances should they be able to force a business to recognize their union.

  • @dkrustyklown : Because workers have the right to form, join and assist labor organizations. It's been the law of the land since 1935.

The National Labor Relations Board certifies a group of workers as a union that is a legal organization. And management has the duty to bargain a collective bargaining agreement.

Take some some to visit your local library or a law library and research the NLRA.

  • @solidarity4

Furthermore, since the Supreme Court ruled in 1963 that no worker can be required to join a union, then any worker that chooses to not be in the union should not have to pay union dues.

Yeah, workers can form organizations if they want to, but the employers should be under no obligation to recognize unions.

Forcing a union on a business is wrong. It is tyrannical and it is wrong.

  • @dkrustyklown : Because the court just defined "union membership." Workers who choose not to be members have to pay their fair share in dues in order to prevent them from "free riding" on the backs of their co-workers.

  • @solidarity4

Why should a union set conditions for employment at any shop? Shouldn't conditions of employment be determined only by the shop owners and managers?

You are arguing against basic property rights. If I own a factory or shop, then I should have absolute say about whether my business recognizes a union or not. It shouldn't be up to the workers, because they aren't the property owners.

  • @dkrustyklown : Your view point was common in the 19th and early 20th centuries. At that time some employers made workers sign "Yellow Dog" contracts, which forbid them from ever joining a union. Employers also had Blacklists.

Both of those practices were outlawed by the Norris-Laugradria Anti-Injunction Act of 1932.

Since that time the courts have balanced worker rights vs. property rights.

  • NRTW Foundation is all rich white people trying to get rid of unions so everyone will work for crap ---- Im not a union member but I can see through these slugs

  • Sort of painting with a broad brush aren't you?! Please explain to me why uneducated factory workers deserve a $35/hour salary. Your pay should be comensurate with your education level and years of experience. The problem with union labor is that they expect something, but give very little in return. That's evident in the US auto industry.

  • Because 35 dollars an Hour is an accurate reflection of the loss of value in American currency and is what's needed today to maintain the American lifestyle that was enjoyed years ago.

  • non profit organization my ass.

  • When I was a manager at UPS I was talking to a driver of ours who was a Teamster. I asked him, how much more an hour he made than a FedEx (non-union) driver. He said he made $4 an hour more. I asked him what those union dues were. They were $65 a month. Do the math yourself. After just 17 hours a month, the workers come out ahead. Right to work laws should be repealed, Taft-Hartley should be repealed and the Employee Free Choice Act should be passed.

  • Go NRTW Legal Defense Foundation! I think the age of union labor is in its twilight! What a great day for Americans!

  • "What a great day for WEALTHY Americans!"

  • very simple answer people

dont want a union at work? FIND ANOTHER JOB

  • Nice of Ms. Huang to read what was scripted for her to read from the nrtw. All the individuality has gotten our country to where it is now. Hope thise economic downturn kills off this nrtw once and for all. Now more than ever people need to stand up together, and be there for one another. Thanks Republicans

  • Right to work = right to starve

This is nothing but an infomercial. Halcyon is right.

  • Please see the Charlton Heston ad...Nobody should be forced to join a union!

  • What's not to like about Unions? The health care, decent wages,or working conditions?nobody is ever forced to join a Union. You obviously are pretty clueless about Unions.

  • Then you have no problem with ntrw. Because they have no problems with unions as well - they simply have problems with forced association or violence which you say does not exist!

  • @IWLocal8

Some people will never understand that trade unions are most of the time beneficial!

  • @rippin187 We've been building America for over 100 years. If we aren't worth what we're paid, how came we're still around as are the Contractors that hire us?Not everyUnion is perfect, but I can find millions of flaws in nonunion companies. If every employer treated their workers with respect and looked out for their welfare, we wouldn't need Unions.Owners didn't give us a 40 hr work wk,abolish child labor laws, and spend money on safety out of the goodness of their hearts. We died for them

  • @IWLocal8

    I agree, thats why I am pro-union.

  • @rippin187 That's how I took your post - wasn't trying to be argumentative - just adding to what I initially wrote.

Always glad to run into another who "gets it".

  • @IWLocal8 Actually owners did give a 40 hour work week --- his name was Henry Ford, in fact, he invented it. Before that, men would work from sun up to sun down.

  • This is nothing more than a corporate sponsored infomercial . . .

Right to work or employment at will states merely provide for employers the right to fire you for no reason and hire someone else to do your job for half of what they once paid you and probably with no benefits, too.

They hide the truth with scarey stories about how unions (they've organized and made backroom deals with) have caused people to lose rights, hard earned benefits and/or even their jobs. Bull!

    Wake up People!

  • union= uneducated, hate mongers...good ol' boys..... group thinkers...thugs....hate-filled antagonists....selfish people forcing out american business....been to detroit lately? Union at its lowest numbers since the 1940's

  • sleezy unions, should be considered a terrorist organization

  • I agree; where are my rights? Who is protecting my rights in the Union?
